ShuBee Ugly Gloves are the best rooter gloves out there. The outer layer of PVC chips helps rooter cables twist easily through the gloves while giving just enough grip to control drain snakes without any friction burn or binding. The heavy-duty outer layer is made in a bright yellow, canvas material to keep your hands dry and easily visible. The outer layer paired with the jersey liner provides durability, dexterity and comfort to help reduce hand fatigue. A plumber’s most valuable tools are their hands. Stop melting your fingers off with those outdated, metal-chipped, plumbing snake and sewage gloves when you can put on the real deal. ShuBee Ugly Gloves are available with or without safety cuff. They’re ugly, but you can bet they’ll work as hard as you do.

Plumber 👨🔧
I have been doing plumbing the last 7 years and during sewer drain cleanings, the drain machine cable can actually get wrapped up in your fingers and cause damage to yourself. These gloves prevent that from happening and prevent the drain cable from damaging you very, highly recommended, I will always purchase these gloves, not only does it protect me physically, but health wise as well during the cleaning of the sewer line. They last quite a long time, they have amazing grip, to allow perfect functionality but they are definitely the best value for your money.

They really are great gloves, sewer and drain cleaning and they hold up to a lot, they do wear out between the thumb and forefinger, just takes a little longer and I always get compliments on them or WTF is wrong with your gloves , then i have to explain.. will be buying some more

You get what you pay for but do work as advertised
I use these gloves for running sewer cables almost every day. They are my back ups in case I loose my leather pair (almost 5 times the cost and harder to find but last much much longer) or when running a branch line machine. Hands are protected and stay dry, control and grip aren't bad either, The grove between the thumb and index finger usally wears out after several months of use. They are still technically usable but no longer keep hands dry, clean or as protected, wearing gloves under the other gloves is not recommended, atleast while running sewer cable, because the cable can still grab on to the material through the hole. It is Still better than nothing and are good enough for the job, just not well reinforced. A good Idea to have a few on hand because they will be replaced if used alot.

Must have for any plumber
If u run a K60(or anything like it) these are the best gloves ever. They hold up and just work great. Decent grip on the snake, easy on and off, and protect ur hands perfectly.

Ugly but strong
I bought these to go with my power sewer auger. I saw a professional use a similar pair when he cleared my drains using a much more powerful machine. I asked where he got the gloves and why were they so ugly? He said the all bumplies (my word) were to keep the rotating cable from catching the glove and wrapping his fingers around and dislocating them. Made sense to me so I bought these gloves. The vinyl part is heavy and the lining makes them comfortable. Also, you can wear them on Halloween night when handing out candy and gross out the rug rats.

Well, the Cat Loves Them...
I originally bought these gloves in preparation for what I thought was a simple household job. It became a larger amount of work than anticipated and a real plumber ended up doing the job. Anyway, I stashed the gloves (unused) in the closet and forgot about them. Some time later I went to get something else from the closet and noticed one of the gloves sticking out. I picked it up and it was covered in cat hair. Apparently, my cat has been going in the closet and using the gloves to pet herself. I found this very unacceptable! So I did what any sane person would do and put on the gloves and pet her with them. She loves them. Now they are her gloves and I likely won't be using them for plumbing. BUT, if I ever ended up needing them, they at least have a dual purpose.Sure, they sell gloves specifically for petting animals, but these are built to withstand a lot of abuse and will likely last much longer than any of those cheaper gloves. Also, as I stated above, they are actually useful for plumbing jobs...I think. If you end up petting your pets with them, you might never use them for anything else. This review is purely based on my cat's enjoyment, which, really, is what all reviews should be based on.
