It is probably cheaper to buy it in the 5-gallon form but because you have to move along I prefer to do it one gallon at a time. My roof was 11 years old on the RV and it had become to be almost porous because of deterioration. It needs to be quite clean and it needs to be primed with some sort of solvent to open the pores of the membrane and allow the product in. I would say if you quote how much a new roof is which is around 6000 you can do this for somewhere around 400 and that's a big deal to me and you'll have a fantastic new roof. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ RV Liquid Roof *by D***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2011* Better to use on a warm not too hot day because on a cold day it will not brush or roller on easily!I used 2 gallonsfor a 36 ft Motor home and this product will seal all the nooks and crannies on your roof.I did all the edges on a ladder first to about a foot in and then sealed the perimeter ofall the roof fixtures like the A/Cs and finished the flat areas with a small 6 inch roller.After adding the catalyst you must use all that you mix, it will not last overnight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked Well *by F***X on Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2013* I'm a first time user of this product. My RV has a curved roof, so, I thought working with the product in volumes may lead to runs and or puddles. No problems at all. The product seems to start to react to the catalyst quickly, but, allowed comfortable working time of 2-3 hours at 85 degrees.
