I actually bought these for my mother but having dined with her a few times, I've now had the pleasure of using these shakers and I thought they were rather posh. Logic would dictate that you put the salt in the one with the white duck, and the pepper in with the brown duck, but what I love is that if you really want to live life on the edge and keep people on their toes, you can fill them however you like. You don't even need to put salt or pepper in them. Put sand in them. See how your guests like that on their chips. Make them feel like they're proper at the seaside.

I just love all Wrendale products! They are such quality items with beautiful artwork. I do wish there were 2 holes for the salt shaker and not just one. I still love them and use them all the time!
