Gave for Christmas to my 7th grader like a "magazine issue
Gave for Christmas to my 7th grader like a "magazine issue." Bought all three, but gave her a new one every two months. Great to help her get "vocabulary" and think through how she thinks so she is insightful on topics. She was especially impressed by how some Christian guys think about girls they want to date. I gave her these three magazines as well as several American girl books that year. Again, just for vocabulary to help her think through what she thinks! There is a second series of three magazines by Courtney that I also bought and gave at a Christmas in the same way. There are so few conservative perspectives in print out there! Heads up that there is a magazine called "Sisterhood" from ex-Focus on the Family editor that is a great magazine for teen girls.

Great "study" for mom/daughter groups
I have a small group of moms/daughters who meet together (a mentoring group from 5th-12th grade), and we just finished the tween version of this book. It's a great format (magazine style), and is short/to the point. We'll be starting this book as our daughters start 8th grade, where some of the topics will be explored, and some saved for future high school years.Highly recommend this author in general, and her magazine style books for tweens/teens. Really gives some great teaching on topics for young Christian ladies!

Very good magazine for teenage, or younger, girls.
My daughter loves all things Vicki Courtney. She seems to have a way of getting the teen and tween mind. These are like fashion magazines, but with great articles and advice. I wish there were quarterly. Very Nice. They give suggestions on life, dating, dressing, friendships, fashion, and more. They cover many different topics with sound advice.

Great for teens
Information is presented well and offers a lot stories, quizzes, and topics that parents can discuss with teens and vice versa. I would recommend reading it first before giving to a teen under 14 or 15. Some of the topics can be a bit advanced for younger teens. The information is presented well and responds well to teen questions and parents. Also helps teens relate and hopefuly learn from other. Not judgmental either, which is also nice.

A Great Read for Teen Girls
There isn't much written these days on integrity of the mind, body and soul for teen girls. I bought this for my grandaughter who is struggling with adolescence and what the world says she she should do. The world presents a very unhealthy image of life and love to a growing, impressionable teen. I wanted her to have a different perspective, a Godly perspective. How to love yourself first, then love others in an appropriate and emotionally healthy way.

GREAT RESOURCE
This book has been a wonderful resource. It is full of helpful material for teen girls in particular. My 14-year old granddaughter absolutely loves it and has read it cover to cover. We have had some very meaningful time together discussing portions of the book. I would highly recommend it, as it addresses the difficult issues that they face today.
