Franklin Sports Youth Dress-Up Shoulder Pads

We purchased these for our son's 7th birthday. He loves everything sports and thought these were the coolest thing! They are definitely flimsy and more of a costume prop vs real pads - so if you need real shoulder pads maybe keep looking. He loves wearing them to play catch outside. Easy to get on and off and I think they'll fit him for another year if he decides to keep wearing them.

My 3 yo nephew is a HUGE football fan. He LOVES the Cleveland Browns and spends his days playing with his toy football men and watching peewee football games on YouTube. He’s a true Browns fan who gets upset and tells you NO if you are off key when chanting “Here We Go Brownies Here we go Woof Woof”. This year for Christmas I got him a Cleveland Browns uniform complete with shoulder pads and a helmet. The joy in his eyes and voice when he unwrapped the gift and saw Franklin Sports on the box. He shouted to me YOU GOT IT YOU GOT IT. Then he asked where his gloves and football shoes were 🤨. He remained in FULL UNIFORM with pad's all day. The shoulder pads fit perfectly and it was worth every penny.

Not well made but I knew this would be the case as I read reviews prior to purchase. You get what you pay for. This was cheap but guess what? My son still loves it.

Runs small but my grandson that's 10 will love them for his foot ball costume. Very light weight.

Franklin and Amazon ought to be ashamed of themselves for making and selling this product. I know the expression "you get what you pay for" but this is even worse than that. Labeling it as "Costume" is far from accurate as it ought to have the word JUNK in parenthesis next to the product name. The photo is the worst false advertising I have seen in a long time! It is literally a flimsy piece of thin, black foam with two little molded plastic cups sewn to the foam, which by the way have ripped entirely off on one side since you have to carefully try and tuck it under a kids t-shirt so it will stay and have some resemblance to football pads. We got this for our youngest son (3 y.o.) for Christmas because he lives and breathes football. He thinks they're real pads, because he is 3, so he loves them! I am the one who is let down that one side has completely ripped apart in just 1 month of use and the other side is close behind. Little kids put their heart into this kind of thing because they believe it is the real deal. My son continues to wear it even though it's ruined. I couldn't take it away from him if I tried. How disappointing that Franklin would produce such a lousy item. Worse of all (and I am a die hard patron) Amazon is stooping pretty low to make a lousy couple bucks trying to sell this piece of garbage!!!

Bought these to go with my 4.5 year olds Halloween costume. They work great and fit him well without being too bulky.

Cheaply made, very small, won’t stay on when child role plays. Extremely disappointed, don’t waste your money.
