Gringos M486B Mens Chelsea Boots In Dark Brown .

Been looking for a decent pair of boots for a while now and these have lived up to my expectations very easily! The soles are very thick all over, and it'll take a while to wear them down if its even possible. The leather construction seems equally as solid and the stitching is brilliant. As statement footwear, they are perfect but these boots are also sturdy enough to use while riding. Just make sure the metal ring doesn't rub on your body work! Waterproof I am unsure of, and would guess at a no... But can update when I find out. My only issue is the sizing. I m normally a 10 \ 10.5 but ordered size 11 and they're a bit tight going on. The boot itself would be the perfect size, however where the boot has elastic to accommodate your foot as it goes in, the leather feature with the metal ring doesn't stretch, negating the stretch in the boot. So I would recommend ordering the next size up. But this could be different person to person. Update 23.08.2016 Still using these boots and still going strong. Have worn pretty much every day since purchase. Still comfy, still looking good. Unfortunately I did get caught in the rain in the past few weeks a couple of times, and both times these boots have let in water. The main issue is the black stretchy part. I would suggest that if wearing these boots, get some waterproofs that cover the black stretchy part and preferably that have elastic that stretch over the sole of the boot, fastening in place. Other than that, treating the boots every so often with a waterproofing spray seems to work well. Unless you get caught in torrential rain, in which case you are going to get wet anyway :oP

Boots are well made, and good value, and you get what the picture looks like. { no oriental plastic nock offs } from some of the reviews, having wide feet i went for a size up? THIS does nothing for your wide feet to fit into the boots better. These boots are a narrow fit, but i managed to get them on with the help of a long shoe horn, they will stretch in time as other boots with similar thickness of leather have done before. WISH i had gone for my correct size now. good sturdy boots that will soften in time. make of boot for this review is WOODLAND.

Was looking to get new pair of these boots for a while but couldn't find anywhere so came to amazon and there they were. boots are really nice BUT BE AWARE! the heel of these boost are 2inch,about 1/2 an inch bigger than the usual Buckle boots and can take a bit of getting used to. Im a UK size 9 and boots fit fine though i always put padding in my boots to fit tighter and for comfort. all in all these are a very good boots and what i was looking but heel should be 1/2 an inch smaller its to big.

A little tight around toes and places at first but I've had these before years ago and like other reviews, you need to break them in. Wear for few hours around house, sitting places before long walks and they will fit nicely. Good quality, look fantastic, big heel so plan on running like a cowboy with loot from a train robbery. Brown is nice but bit darker than I anticipated. Can't grumble for the price.

These boots look good (with a proviso...) and are both easy to put on and comfortable to wear from the outset, which came as a pleasant surprise. However, they are not as tough as the pictures/description suggests. The leather is very thin and would probably not last a single ride, on horse or motor bike. You could certainly not kick change gears and expect still to have toes at the end of a ride. Their shape is maintained by whatever the lining material is rather than a sturdy leather. Be warned, for dress/appearance only. At this price though, it should not be a surprise.
