I’ve been wearing the LUNA Sandals MONO Winged Edition every day, and they’ve completely changed how I think about footwear. The first thing I noticed was how light they feel—you almost forget you’re wearing them, but they still provide solid protection and grip whether I’m on pavement, grass, or trails. The Winged lacing system is a game-changer. It keeps the sandals snug without ever feeling tight, and I never have to worry about straps rubbing or coming loose. After a short break-in, they molded to my feet and now feel like they were custom-made for me. What I love most is their versatility. I can wear them for a run, long walks, or even just around town, and they’re always comfortable. They’ve held up really well to daily use, and the grip gives me confidence on uneven or wet ground. For me, these sandals aren’t just workout gear—they’re an everyday shoe. The freedom, comfort, and durability make them hands-down the best sandals I’ve ever owned.

These are a god send for camping especially when space is limited. I did a bike packing trip across Scandinavia and needed a shoe I could wear when I set up camp each night. Extremely light weight and surprisingly comfortable. Easy to slip on when stepping out of the tent and was able to attach them to the side of my bike bag. They are very streamlined and flat for being able to tuck away in a bag or on the outside of a pack. So far quality has been great, they lasted two weeks of being tossed around on that trip and have used them a few times on some other camping trips recently with no issues.

I have recently been wearing Luna sandals. While they offer different styles and treads, the Mono Winged is their go-to, all-purpose sandal. If in doubt, get this model. Size down! Luna sandals tend to run a little small, and the huarache style works best with as little material around the feet as possible. I wear a size 10 in shoes, I had to get a size 8 for these to be comfortable. And keep the straps snug, not tight. If they are too tight, they will push your foot to either side and the sandal will not be aligned properly. A snug fit, enough to fit a finger between your foot and strap, is what you want. That lets your foot move naturally and will keep them aligned on the sandal. As is common with huaraches, it will take a little time to break them in and find a strap placement that works for you. It can be frustrating but keep at it, once you get it, you never have to adjust them again. Overall, great sandals. They are expensive but the quality is good. The Vibram sole is very durable and a great choice for everyday wear and lightweight hiking. For more intensive hiking, consider the Oso models, which use the Megagrip sole.

Bought these for a summer trip and have been pleasantly surprised by how well they held up. Make sure you get the size right. Customer Support were able to help me confirm that I should be shooting for a size that only just covered my foot surface area. I didn’t get any blisters. I like the fact that I could adjust the strap length and I walked a ton on these. Honestly, I’d have to say that these are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever owned. Sandals were always a “I guess I need to have a pair for the activity I’m going to be doing” purchase, namely, anything that required dealing with heat and water but also being able to walk on somewhat uneven surfaces, where a flip-flop wouldn’t be enough. These are kind of a super flip-flop. Which has led to an abundance of confidence that I’ve pushed a bit too far a few times and almost rolled my ankle. So watch out for that. But I’ve never loved a pair of sandals before. And I love these. I ended up wearing them long after the trip until the weather closed in enough to force me to get back into shoes. One of the nice things about them is that they’re so lightweight as you can even go for a casual swim in them. I wouldn’t recommend trying to do an iron man, but if you’re worried about sea urchins, these are a great solution.

So far I have been using these sandals for the last two weeks and they are good for walking and when to the creek with my dog the other day and I was surprised how well they stay when walking thru the water. Regular sandals will give you a hard time but these are really good and stay in your feet. I’ll update with more in the future, but for now they are good…

I love the fit of these sandals. They feel light and sturdy. I have been able to jog in them and wear them to and from the beach with ease and comfort. They are worth the price and I doubt I’ll ever go back to traditional Rainbows. They kind of replace my Crocs too (but I prefer to have fewer utility shoes). For reference, I tend to wear 9.5 (maybe 10) shoes with socks. I ordered these in a 9 and they fit perfectly.

Overall comfortable but my left sandal comes loose after a hundred yards or so. Not sure why. The right one stays snug though. They are comfortable and have good traction. I wonder how long the foamy sole will last though.

I have been a long term Teva Sandlas person. I became tired of how clunky and big they felt on my feet. I wanted a more minimal sandle that I could wear anywhere. I saw someone wearing a pair of Lunas and loved both the rugged and minimal look. I read that because of the close fit to order 1/2 size smaller so I ordered 8.5 when my regular size is a 9. When they arrived and I put them on...perfect fit! Exactly around the edges of my feet and very easy to adjust for maximum fit. I have worn them non stop for 3 weeks now and I could not be happier. One of the best aspects is when wet MY FEET DO NOT SLIP AROUND..yes thst is correct when totally wet the foot bed is just as secure as when dry, I never had that quality with my Tevas. The build quality is top notch, the straps have somehow NOT left any blisters or rubs on any part of my feet. Bottom line....but three Sandles now, don’t wait!!

El artículo excelente, ayer los probé 8 km y quedé muy contento, tienen muy buena amortiguación al trotar en sendero con piedra, lo que si quiero hacer mención es que yo los ordené en talla 29 cm y me llegaron en 28 cm, de todas formas si me quedaron pero les pediría pongan mucha atención en eso, porque la verdad si dudaría en pedir de nuevo y no saber que talla me va a llegar.

ルナサンダル・モノのウイングエディションを数年間ランニングに使っていましたが、 普通に歩いているときに付け根のプラスチックの部分が破断。代わりに同じものを購入 しました。それよりもだいぶ前に買ったオソ・フラコのレトロは、山登り専用に使って いますがまだに健在。着脱しやすいウイングエディションよりも、紐だけのレトロの 方が耐久性はあるように感じました。
