Quilling: The Art of Paper Filigree

I have a lot of quilling books for the beginner. I've tried to find advanced techniques, but have come up empty. I found this book after seeing some new technique from Jane Jenkins.It helped greatly to know the terminolgy for my search. Quilling: The Art of Paper Filigree is the book I was looking for. It went beyond beginner techniques and gave me new ideas.

I’m so glad I got this book! I’ve been quilling for over 5 years now, so most of the time, I find quilling books to be pretty same ol’, same ol’, but this book had several variations on standard quilling tools and techniques that were new to me - a rarity, after all the books I’ve read. The directions are well thought out and explained, the pictures are clear and accurately display the techniques. I found this a valuable addition to my quilling library, and highly recommend it to all quillers, newbies and experienced folks alike.

I found this book very hard to learn from, It involves more reading than actual picturesfor step by step instruction. Also zero templates for practice while learning!I would NOT buy this if a beginner, also the pictures are not very inspiring!

Easy to understand, jargon not used nicely written in plain understandable English

Disappointed that there were only techniques and no projects. Saying that have been practising different techniques, ideal for the beginner.

I liked the clear instructions together with photos and ideas.
