Excelllent snorkel
I should preface this by saying that as I wear ear plugs nowadays to protect my ears, I stay mostly on the surface and when I do dive occasionally, I don't go deeper than a couple of metres any more. This snorkel is efficient and relatively comfortable in use. The ball valve keeps out most of the water but when some does get in you can clear it easily and effectively by blowing sharply out. The mechanism which you use to join it to a mask is incredibly useful.as you position the plastic clasp on the mask strap and then simply snap-in the snorkel to it, which saves a whole lot of hassle in trying to get it back into the right position each time. This is one of the lower end Cressi snorkels so either it is a real bargain or the others must be absolutely fantastic!

A* product!
Best snorkel ever used! Packed full of features that work! Initially seeing the tittle of this product "dry snorkel" it's hard to believe. When diving underwater there is a float at the top of the snorkel that moves up to block water from entering. When surfacing if a small amount of water has entered the snorkel it gathers at the bottom near the mouth piece which is expelled though the one way valve. Very well made and quality materials. Haven't seen a better snorkel in the market yet!

Completely dry snorkeling
Even with the choppy sea you get towards the ocean side of a coral reef, with small waves splashing over the snorkel, no water gets in. On the rare occasions it does, you can blow it out of the valve at the bottom of the tube with a sort of cough. You can dive down to the bottom -- no need to do anything to stop water getting in apart from stopping breathing, then when you surface you just start breathing again. The tube is wide enough to allow you to breathe pretty hard if you need to. I leant the snorkel to a local guide on a caribbean beach, who said it was by far the best breathing tube he had ever used.

Bought after thorough research. Only tried it a few times to date but performs as expected. Still mists up but is it ever possible to get one that doesn't?

Dry snorkelling
I used this on a diving holiday with some rainy surface exits, stayed dry even on first breath after being down for an hr. It does flap about a bit on the mask if not seated perfectly - but under the water all snorkels are a faff. Great snorkel and highly recommend.

Fully submerged it and what little water it did let in quickly drained so no need to blow the air out yourself which is great. M
Having just received this snorkel today I've only tested it in the bath tub. Fully submerged it and what little water it did let in quickly drained so no need to blow the air out yourself which is great. Mouth piece feels comfortable, clips onto mask easily with quick release and it looks great. I can't foresee any problems using it for real in the next couple of months when I'll be testing it properly.

Great first snorkel
Great little snorkel. My daughter is 4 and has never used a snorkel before about 15 minutes she was totally confident with this snorkel. The only negative aspect of the snorkel is it can clip on and off the mask easily, but this is a small thing.

Dry Snorkel
I have tried a few different type of 'dry' snorkels over the years with varying degrees of success. This one is, by far, the best yet. The small float quickly shuts off the tube top to prevent water entering. Particularly useful in slightly choppy water where a wave might splash over the top. Is it 100% dry? It would be fair to say that it is most of the time and that any water that has gotten in has been very small in quantity and easily expelled through the valve in the bottom.

great snorkel - did the job in rough conditions
i bought the cressi dry for a trip to the virgin islands for both snorkeling and diving. the snorkel performs as advertised and was put to the test with unusually rough conditions during 2 boat dives. we were in 3-4+ foot chop with strong surge; no issues with water in snorkel. overkill in calm conditions, but WELL worth it when things get dicey. highly recommend this and will continue to use with confidence.

Great snorkel!
Works as it should. Take a breath, dive underwater, come up and the snorkel is clear of water. I tested it with water in the tube and when blowing out the water, it escapes completely at the mouthpiece (rather than having to blow it out the tube itself). The articulation point on the snorkel is extremely soft/flexible, so no tension at the mouthpiece. It also has a quick release/connect clip to connect it to a mask/goggles. Very happy with the purchase.

Excelente compra
