It also doesn’t require that big of a battery. I use a 12 V power wheel four amp hour battery and it works just fine. It does leave about a half an inch on the bottom of water that I can’t get out. If you buy white bilge pump hose, it fits perfectly. Also shoots out almost a foot and a half at the end of the hose. A very, very impressive little pump! I use it to clean out my duck pond a few times a week to give them fresh water. We use the water for our garden and compost bin. I attached a 48’ hose to it and this thing pumps like 18g per minute. I could have gotten less flow so I don’t drain the water so fast, but this thing works great for its price. I’ve used it a dozen times now. Instead of carrying around a battery I use a battery charger and just put negative to negative and positive to positive and it works perfectly.
