As others have said, they aren't great. They're just barely usable. I'm using these on my HiFi repair test bench to make quick connections to my bench speaker banana plugs. I made up a few different adapters to go from banana plugs to RCA, pin connections, spade terminals, etc.. to be able to quickly hook up receivers with different connections. These don't insert fully into the female receptacle because of the way they are made. The spring tension portion of the plug is not an integral part of the plug. The spring is loose and there's a big ball on the end that prevents full insertion. Not to mention that with it being made this way there is now another point of contact between the female plug and the wire.They'll work in my application but I will definitely be replacing them soon.

Hi My name Is rob.. I bought this set of Banana Plugs...For my power supply unit ,,that I also bought from Amazon.. The plugs screws are easy and simply to use...The end of plug fit snug in the power adaptor...perfect fit...Not to tight or not to loose.. Thank You Amazon..

Im a 30 year experienced electronics tech. i bought these to make some multi meter leads. They LOOK nice and easy,lemme tell ya...the screws strip out,there a total pain to solder,the screws stay exposed so if you dont cover them with tape,your getting shocked.Cheap tin. After an HOUR of ripping my fingers with a screwdriver on the stripping out set screws,I thought I finally got ONE together. Put it in my meter,tested for continuity,NOTHING.Pulled it out and the plug broke off. Total junk.I asked for a return and Amazon wants me to drive all over the country to do it.Ill just put them in the trash where they belong.Thanks for wasting my time.

There is no way to solder these connectors. The exposed screw heads on the cable clamping screws can be shorted by a stray metal object which can lead to disaster. They look cheap but I knew this going in. I didn't care because they wouldn't be exposed in my application. To remedy these issues I put heatshrink over them after assembly.
