Excellent cutter, be careful with pots though.
I love my waffle cutter, I use this to make waffle chips (rotate the potato after each cut) or salad cucumbers. The depth of cut is quite chunky but it needs to be so that you can rotate whatever you're cutting to get those signature waffle cut holes. I've attached a pictures to show you what I managed to do with this cutter with potatoes. Just a word of warning, the potatoes are a bit harder to do and you need to give it a good quick swipe down otherwise it will stick. If it does stick then I hold onto the potato and bang it down holding the potato only. Hope that makes sense!

Disappointing
Very difficult and dangerous to use. You need to get the safety handle to go with it but it is not easy to slice through sweet potatoes or other harder roit veg. Disappointed with the product which is now gathering dust at the back of the cupboard.

Bought this item just over a month ago and nearly chopped off the top of my thumb with it. Prospective buyers be advised to use protective handwear at all times with this product. Instructions not very helpful either as in German with picture graphics. It is a good cutter but you have to use some force to get a clean slice so teenagers etc should be closely monitored while using it, its even ripped through oven glove so more for a professional cook than curiosity buyer.
