Perfect toy for your pups
I have 2 Blue Heelers that have a ton of energy and are incredible strong. The spring holds their constant tugging, pulling and both of the full weights of their bodies. The rope only lasted a week, but after a quick trip to the pet store for an ultra thick knotted rope, we are going a few weeks strong. Easy to put together, this thing provides endless hours of play. I was glad I had an extra nylon rope laying around to tie to a high branch. Best money Iโve spent on a dog toy!

Sturdy pole, my dog loves it!
My dog loves this toy! Very study. The other review mentioned the cord isn't very strong, I don't feel the same. However, it is not meant for tugging. The way the toy is built, when/if the cord ever breaks, it'll be really easy to replace. My only complaint is the top portion where the cord screws into the pole, unscrews to easy and often comes undone during play. I think I'll get some lock tight to gum it up a little bit. Overall, so much better than I ever expected for the price. Well worth it.

Better for smaller or not so strong dogs
Rooe and attached chew braid very durable; pole not so much for a larger stron puppy. First, the positive. This is by far my Lab puppy's favorite toy. And the braided chew attachment has survived fierce tugging and chewing far better than most toys, which basically survive a week. The sane is true for the rope. But on the negative side, the pole recently snapped at one of the plastic telescoping junctions when he quickly doubled back while tugging. Everything was great when he was 15 pounds, but it was no match for a very strong and active 25 pound puppy. I would recommend it highly for smaller or less athletic dogs. But for my dog I would prefer solid steel poles that screw together rather than telescope.

Fun Way to Wear Out My Dog
A great way to wear out my 4 year old Great Dane. And they said Great Danes are lazy!!! HA! The adjustable pole allows me to get it the right length for both my dog and me. Seems well made, but my Dane is very gentle with toys so I don't know how it would hold up against a rough playing dog.

Great idea, just not very rugged.
While it says this product is for medium to large active dogs, it's not. The snap broke within 10 minutes of first time playing and the spring just isn't very rugged.

Awesome!
This pole is so strong and sturdy. Could be a little heavy for someone with dexterity issues but I love it! I have had other flimsy poles that my dog has destroyed. This one will last! love it!

Got money to burn?
If youโre in the mood of taking your money and burning it then this product might be for you. This thing broke in a few minutes. It started at first because it states not to extend each section beyond a certain point, a point that goes easily unnoticed. Then the pieces connecting the sections started to crack even when extending it as specified. When my dog grabs the end I have to worry that he wonโt finish breaking the thing. In addition, the rope is held on my a metal screw on tip. This tip has to be continually screwed tight because it almost completely unscrews during regular use. Total waste of money. Again. Want to burn money? This is the product for you.

Way too flimsy for practical use.
Flirt poles are awesome, but not the flimsy junk that is sold here. Thereโs no way that the positive reviews here are from owners of anything other than pomeranians, very young kittens, or owners who played with their pet for 5 minutes and never took it out again. I left two stars because I will be able to re-use the teaser on the flirt pole that I built. This product broke within two play sessions. Our experience was really simple: my 10 week old puppy would catch the teaser, and it would apply pressure to the โjointsโ of the stick. It stopped locking after the second play session, and the cheap string popped in the third. My puppy was not strong at all and he was learning โdropโ. We werenโt using it as a tug toy. Take this money and build one out of PVC with a nicer rope and youโll have a fantastic tool to play with and train your dog impulse control (politeness, drop, take it, chase, etc). The PVC should cost $3, cap is .50, pack of thin paracord rope is $7. Attach a toy to the end, voila, a flirt pole that you can have tons of fun with and replace the rope yourself if the dog ever breaks it.

Tough, reliable, strong and fun! Dog's barking mad for it!
Bought this for my Shiba Inu who likes to play rough! Absolutely amazing quality in build and durability! It keeps her entertained for as long as it needs to sometimes even longer as she pounces on it like a cat! It is versatile in its uses both serving as a functional toy as well as a training tool! You get an absolute value for money with this! It's easy to use and set up that even young children can use the product with ease! Five stars all the way! If you've got a dog that loves to play rough, trust me, you should invest in this product today! ๐ถ๐พ
