This has the right protein and fat mix for pigeons, and the seeds (even the largest peas) are sized just fine for pigeons. For smaller doves they might be an issue, but even a fairly small pigeon will have no trouble swallowing them, as I have watched them doing many times.

This mix is absolutely rediculous to try and feed to pigeons. The peas are of crop choking size, and I spent hours grinding them into smaller bits so my birds could eat them. How much more money would it take this company to grind them up a bit before selling this food to customers!?

I just don't understand why anyone would buy 8 lbs of Pigeon feed for their birds. Come on now, if you just like feeding wild pigeons in the park; it would be ok if you like overspending. The quality of this feed is ok, and not the best mind you. For under $20, I can buy a 50 lb bag of Pigeon feed at my local feed store. Save your money folks and check your local feed store's prices instead, you'll save a ton believe me.
