Took them out the next day for another surf session, mistimed a wave and was thrown under some white wash and one of the ear plugs instantly came out with the force of the white wash. The fall wasn’t anything big or crazy where I think the waves were maybe 3ft that day; would compare it to mistiming a duck dive. Can’t knock the earplugs too hard as it’s probably my fault for having too much confidence in them. They are very comfortable and keep the water out and don’t hinder hearing too much. I hate the feeling of water in my ears, so I decided to get some earplugs. I had to try out a couple different-sized buds before I found the pair that worked for me, but once I did, it was awesome. Absolutely no water getting in, and that's with a solid hour of swimming. No adjustment needed mid-swim. I just pop them in, make sure the little hook is braced against my (I think it's) triangular fossa, and I'm good to go.
