This is the International Version - If you want a preset US version, this is not the one you want
This is the International Version - If you want a preset US version, this is not the one you want. It probably will not support Samsung Pay out of the box. Mine was set to Panama which doesn't have Samsung Pay. If you are savvy enough, you CAN (though it is not easy to find the correct instructions) reset the region to USA (CSC region XAR) to enable all the US features of the watch. If you get a watch running Tizen 4.0.0.7 you will have to downgrade the firmware to 4.0.0.1 and then modify some files (very carefully) in order to change the CSC (region). Then you can update the firmware normally through the app. The reason you would be purchasing this version is to save money vs. buying the US version. You may get an international plug on the charger. It is a 5.0v / 0.7A charger, you probably have one of those for your phone(s). If your savings are not worth the time you will spend researching and performing the CSC change (all told it took me about 6 hours to find the right instructions from about 6 sources and combine them to get a working solution) or if you are not tech literate enough to perform it, then just spend the extra money to buy the US version. Apart from that, the Galaxy Watch is great. I love the sleep tracker. I've had other smart watches so checking my notifications on my wrist is normal, but this goes beyond that. It connects with the Smart Things Hub so I can unlock my electronic door locks, tracks my sleep, steps, etc through the Samsung Health app, and now that I have it set on the correct region, I can use samsung pay as well. And if you set up the features in a smart way, the battery will last between 2-5 days, depending on how much you use it. My old Pebble watch would usually last about 3 days, and that didn't have nearly as many features as the Galaxy Watch. Bottom line: Know what you are getting into with the International Version and this is golden. If you end up returning it because it is not the US version, you weren't paying attention.

Excellent smartwatch, value for money
I bought this smartwatch in October 2019 and so far it was worked flawlessly for me. Step counting, heart rate measurement, exercise tracking, sleep tracking - all work well, and seem to be accurate. The watch's analysis of my sleep patterns cannot be corroborated without professional devices, but it does seem to track sleep and wake time accurately. It also does the basic stuff flawlessly - you can take calls from the watch when paired with your phone, read text messages and emails. The rotating dial is groovy and works well. The display is large, crisp and bright. Touch recognition works well. Numerous watchfaces are available on the app - many good free ones there. The battery life could be better, but I have my screen at maximum brightness, so can't complain. You might want to disable the 'activate screen on wrist movement' setting - it is over-sensitive and will probably drain battery faster. Be sure to install a screen protector. For my relatively basic needs the watch has been an excellent fit. The watch is large and looks dominant on my relatively small wrist - but it's a good looking piece of work and I am not complaining. Highly recommended.

Bluetooth Watch ⌚ does the job. Perfect 👌 😎
I love the watch. It's perfect 👌 😎 You can: 1. Answer phone calls & talk via the Bluetooth watch ⌚with the cell phone nearby. 2. Connect to WiFi directly after pairing to the phone. 3. Save some songs onto the watch, no need to carry your phone for that 10km jogging session. Only works with Bluetooth Earphones/Earbuds 4. Your Bluetooth Earbuds can connect directly to the watch ⌚. 5. It uses the GPS to track your jogging route, & sync to Strava after the jogging session 🏃 (from Watch to Phone). No need to carry the phone to trace the jogging route via GPS. The watch does it for you. It works like a charm. No problems at all. Although it could have done more, like somehow track 🖲 the watch via GPS & free cellular data, only for the purposes of tracking down the watch ⌚ Something like "find-my-watch" in a different location away from the phone. I know there's an e-sim option, but it would have been a killer to have it in the Bluetooth version, only for tracking down the watch ⌚

Great Watch, Bad Charger
Pros: I've become more excited about exercising, it keeps really good time, the set up is very easy, and there are a few cool features (weather, music, etc). The interface works really well and I find the click of the dial very satisfying. Cons: 1. THE CHARGER IS AN INTERNATIONAL CHARGER with an adapter that doesn't work. The adapter is too loose on the American side, so it slides right out of any plug in, thus not charging. I understand that this is the "international version", but instead of including an adapter, they could've just included a common USB A cord/charging block. (That was my work around.) It works 100% better (since it actually charges now) and it's likely a lot cheaper, since adapters are pretty pricey. 2. The watch faces look pretty digital and fake - they Are, of course, but the iWatch looks a bit nicer. This being said, I did find a face that works for me, but it took a lot of sifting through really bad ones (and there aren't a ton out there). Overall, a really nice watch - my main issue is the inclusion of a bad work around that is more costly and less effective. This is my review shortly after recieving the watch. If anything substantial changes, I will update accordingly.

Great deal if you don't mind scratches and dirt.
I have waited for a few days before writing this review just to make sure there wasn't any issues with the watch. To my surprise (and the price!) I'm quite happy with the purchase! When I saw the Samsung Galaxy Watch I really liked the looks of it. I like larger watches and the dial bezel were both things that drawn me to this watch. Since I don't like buying new (I feel like crap when I personally scratch/damage something I bought new) so I was looking for used and saw there was one for sale for WAY cheaper than any others. It had no information on what it came with or the condition so it was a crap shoot. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and it had ALL the accessories (watch, band, non OEM charging dock, and cable for the dock). There is some scratches including some on the screen but nothing that wasn't covered up with the tempered glass screen protector I applied to it. The only issue I had with it was it was not cleaned at all! It was so bad that the bezel wouldn't spin at all because of all the dead skin cells that was trapped underneath it. After a few hard turns of the bezel getting all of that crap out from under it it moves alot more freely. The model I got is the international version but I haven't seen anything with it that would signify that it is. International version is suppose to be missing apps (mostly Samsung Pay) but mine does have it so I don't know. Pairing it with my non Samsung phone was quite easy even though I had to install 3 different apps to full use it. The battery is still decent with just over 2 days of usage before needing to charge it. Charging is slow compared to new devices with it taking just over 2 hours to fully charge it. Overall I'm VERY happy with the purchase!

Extremely cool looking watch
As soon as I saw this watch I wanted to buy it exclusively for the looks, and it ended up being an awesome watch as well. I also have a Ticwatch Pro and it's a great watch too, but the Samsung Galaxy watch is just on another level. Kind of makes you think why would Samsung charge the design on the newer models (reason why I didn't buy one of the new ones instead). I'm extremely happy with the watch, has great features, works smooth as butter in any application, and it looks awesome, including the default watch face which I leave on all the time. On the downside, I can't think of anything right now

A Great Watch in all Ramifications.
How do one sum up a product that met his expectations in all ramifications? The battery lasts up to 5 days with basic functions (heart rate, steps, floors etc). Note that some watch faces drain battery life and its imperative to reduce the notifications to the really required. Also, reducing the backlight brightness helps too. I am not a doctor but I think the sleep tracker gives a fair assessment of my sleep patterns. In fact, it records the times I wake up in between sleep. I love the fact that it records my swimming automatically, although it has failed to record automatically on two occasions. However, manual initiation of the function does the trick. Overall, I am impressed with this watch. The downside is that it does not allow me to wear my other lovely watches. It's really domineering.

Dependable product at a reasonable price
I've had this for a while now, and it works great! I wish it wasn't running older, tizenOS, but it does what it needs to, and has some features newer Samsung watches have ditched, so I'll keep it until it starts to fail. Battery lasts a few days, it has microphone and speaker functionalityy, and a rotating bezel that is useful when my hands are muddy or something.
