Memory...what even is it, amirite?
I mean, we're living in a simulation, we all agree on that, right? So of course, because computers need this memory stuff to operate—or WE in fact need this—I suppose I should figure out exactly what the ever-loving fudge it is, right? Well, that day won't be today, but let's just say it's on my agenda for some time in 2027. Anywhoo, in regard to this particular Memory doohicky, apparently I needed it to upgrade my desktop because all my open tabs (367 at present) were sucking the memory into oblivion. So, I ordered this and opened the back of my computer (only took me 9 hours this time! Yaaay me!) to remove the old memory and install these two plastic + metal strips, and WOW was it easy! Like, super easy. And here's the best part...it WORKED! I find that when I install new computer parts (seven times per week) that I have about a 97.3% failure rate, but this was easy peasy, lemon Ron Weasley!!! My computer is faster than ever, and my wife has let me move back into the main house from the garage! Love you all...highly recommended. Five stars.

Be careful with the specs. I had to return this memory and get something
Slightly different. Processors are fussier than they used to be. In general, put as much memory as your motherboard will hold and then put your system on a SSD drive, and your data drive as well. Your machine will scream. The other thing I tell people is that Steve Jobs made computers look like Tesla's but he destroyed the computer industry in the process. OK, its a work of art, but you can hardly fix, add, or modify the hardware. I have a junktop Dell and a junktop HP. In the HP I can install more memory and 2 hard drives. The Dell has more I/O and even an esata port. Because I can upgrade them easily these old laptops are incredible performers, inexpensive, and cheap to free. Ditto for the thin edge apples. Complete junk. I use the thick edge apples and they are amazing performers and easy to upgrade. I usually run with the CPU on low speed/power, which is nice in Arizona when you need to get as much wattage to the air conditioners as you can!

EZ upgrade
I went from (1) 8gb memory card to (2) 8gb memory cards for a new total of 16gb RAM. Right from the start big increase in speed and performance. Well worth the $50 cost of the RAM upgrade Kit. I could of max out my Ram to 32gb (2) 16gb cards. Would it have giving faster start up and performance? IDK. For $100 I could of found out. Some say i would not have got better performance for the extra $50 spent. The 16gb upgrade doubled my performance as far as start up speed. update: These A-Tech memory cards show up on my computer as" Kingston " brand.

Funciona
