Proto 10 inch crescent wrench
This 10 inch wrench is nearly as high quality as my older Proto tools. Unlike the 6 and 8 inch ones I got a few months ago that Amazon wouldn't allow me to write a negative review on

Not made in the USA
Proto is known for their outstanding quality but only if made in the USA. I bought this wrench because it was described as "made in USA" but the packaging said "made in Taiwan" the tool looks ok but I paid a premium price for something that is sub par. I'm in the process of returning it.

Not marked made in USA
Item description says made in America and other reviewers have stated theirs were stamped made in the USA, I ordered two and neither were marked made in USA. Paid a premium for a product and didn't get what was described.

This is not a quality American made toolUnfortunately I had to have it for work and had to use it or it would have been sent back

Made in Taiwan. Seems to be decent quality, time will tell. Only keeping to test out.

Quality disappoints
The plating on the inside of the jaws started flaking off within days. The machining of the jaws was rough and the jaws were out of alignment by about 1/16 when fully closed. Poor quality by import standards let alone a brand as venerable as Proto.
