I am not sure why people complain about this case. Too big, not shiny, feels cheap etc. Not even sure why its "Women's Metal Vault".....strange. I've bought a few of these cases and they are not only durable but strong to protect your glasses, snaps all the way shut with no play on the close. They are light in comparison to the carbon fiber versions and looking like a torpedo case makes it far more appealing to look and hold. If you have PitBoss or X-metals like Romeos or even Julie's and Penny's this is the way to go with this particular case. The original X-metal rectangular cases are now way over priced and are serious collectibles and elegant boxes. But again, this case is rock solid and won't show finger prints or stuff marks like shiny cases. If you really want this version to be shiny, get some metal polish and you can make this shine reflective. I've done it and it does work, just need some elbow grease. Anyway, its a great buy at this price point.

I kept this because it is the only snap case on Amazon I could find big enough to hold the XReal Air, which comes with a terrible zip case. If you are in the market for XR glasses, I recommend getting the XReal Air 2 Pro because it looks like it comes with a nice snap case. For this case, the fact that it is made of metal has caused a lot of unforeseen problems. First, it snaps shut really loudly which is disruptive in quiet environments. Also, the outside is shaped like a medieval bludgeoning instrument, so it will scratch up any other hard equipment you have it in a bag with. I would not have this anywhere near a phone. Finally, god help you if you have a bit of your finger flesh near the edge of the case by the hinge when you close it because it will snap shut on you like a mouse trap with an insane amount of leverage. I've done this a couple times now and the last time I thought I had cut myself open. It is extremely painful. So if you have the first XReal Air, this fits the bill. Just be very careful with it.

I needed a large case to hold my glasses and sunglasses so I picked up 2 of these. They are more than big enough for my frames (I have a large head so my glasses frames are pretty wide laterally). I like this case because it is virtually crush proof (within reason of course) and has a nice interior. It is slightly padded and felt lined so that once your glasses are in there you can throw it around without worry of breaking your expensive eyewear. I would have preferred that they did not put the studs/spikes around the exterior, it looks kinda lama (overly aggressive) and also makes the case prone to damaging other items. For example if you through your case into a bag with your laptop and your phone, it may scratch those up a bit. I won't detract this at all from the rating though because I bought this case to protect my shades, not my laptop - and it protects my eyewear brilliantly.

I recently bought a pair of Oakleys and being the OCD kind of person I am, I bought this to protect them when not in use for long period of time. I gotta say, the case excels at that rather well. It provides full protection all around from almost anything you can throw at it while keeping a nice, felt-like inside as to not scratch or mark up the shades themselves. I also rather like the look it has, it gives it a worn-out and used appearance over the metal outside and it only makes me thing it'll last a long time before I need another case. I love it and carry it with me regularly in my car. Highly recommended if you want to make your expensive sunglasses last a while.

Excellent protection for your expensive sunglasses. Well made and sturdy bit on the large side which limits where you can store it for example car door pockets, trouser pockets but still a good item ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
