Earrings arrived with the back broken off one and the other bent. This was to be a gift for someone celebrating a major event for whom the earrings were supposed to be a remembrance 20 years from now. Glad I didn't send them directly to the recipient! Makes me nervous about ordering anything else from this company. If they weren't broken, the earrings were just okay and I doubt would have lasted more than a year. The pearls themselves were lovely but 8-8.5mm is small. The only 14k is the thin hook-shaped wire that comes up and through one's ear. At its base is the unknown metal of the tiny loop to which attaches the tiny loop attached to the pearl and the tiny disc that is glued to the pearl. Also of unknown metal is the lever back piece. I don;t know if this mystery metal is gold tone or plated or what but the tiny loop at the top of the pearl has little gold color now. I can't imagine what this will look like in a year.

I wanted a simple pearl drop earring and got exactly what I wanted and the price was what I was willing to spend. On my ears the pearl hits just slightly below the lobe. I didn't want anything lower. I can only wear 14K of higher gold and I never had an issue with sore, pus, or bleeding after wearing all day. The wish the gold clasp was a little heavier, but I am still very happy with my purchase. I would gift these and will order the other pair of earring I saw since I feel confident in the quality.

These pearl earring are beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I'm a bit of a pearl fanatic, and these did not disappoint. The pearls are perfectly round and devoid of any surface imperfections. The luster is great, and the color has a bit of pink tone, which is my preference. They arrived in a beautiful box that would be great if one intended to give the earrings as a gift. The seller has even followed up with information about pearl care which is very important given that pearls tend to be more fragile than other fine jewelry. I am very happy with my purchase!
