Works great!
I bought this gear oil to replace the differential fluid on my 2018 Camaro SS and so far, so good! I mean it's OEM, so it better work! I had to buy a hand pump to get it flowing, but it was such an easy job, I think anyone can do it. The price seems to have gone up about $10 since I last bought it, but I think it's worth changing out if your car has never had it done before.

Silenced rear LS differential
My 2015 Camaro (ZL1) started making groaning noises when turning corners. After changing the fluid, and doing the recommended figure eights in a empty parking lot, the noise went away. I probably didn't need to, but I added an additional ounce of Limited Slip Axle Lubricant Additive (10-4003 / 88900330).

GM limited slip differential fluid
This product is for GM rear differential with limited slip feature. The ‘LS’ tag on the label denotes this.

Fix for LSD clutch moan
2011 CTS-V Coupe, 57k miles. Had the dreaded clutch moan (sounds like tires rubbing) at slow speed, cold diff, full wheel turning lock. Drained old fluid, stabbed in new fluid. Few tight u-turns both ways, moan gone. 5 stars.

It worked to quiet my differential
I was having issues with the differential making odd sounds on my Corvette. I read that replacing the older diff fluid with newer fluid should help. Most people also suggested using the ACDelco product over other products, particularly Corvette owners. It did take a little time to quiet things down and it was somewhat gradual with usage. I read that you need to get the new fluid worked through the system and that may take doing some slalom runs, faster turns, going in reverse, etc. Also to take it easy for the first 500 miles after changing the fluid, which I did. I am not sure exactly when, but within a couple days I stopped noticing the sounds it was making before changing the fluid. I am happy with the result.

Keep your GM clutch packs in the limited slip differentials safe with the OEM oil.
Limited slip additives are already in this oil, so my GM truck's clutch packs for limited slip should be safe. For price & lack of information I deduct one star. Is this product hygroscopic? I have no idea. GM is very ambiguous when it comes to their description of the product. The way GM packages this, I assume products like Redline, or Royal Purple may actually be better. They cost the same or less, and give LS protection. I also only give four stars because this product's price is way up there with racing blends like Royal Purple, Redline, or other high performance racing products. I have no idea what type of synthetic this is. At least Redline tells their customers what they use as a feedstock base for their formulation. Delco, BMW, Volvo, Motorcaft, Mopar, Valvoline all keep it some deep dark secret, so I have no idea what to expect this product to do to certain materials. Just because GM says it is what should be used on GM manual transmissions & rear ends is just not quite good enough. I remember when GM's limited slip was new. My father's 4 speed Positrack dual exhaust 348 6 Pack Offie Impala, went through a clutch pack every 6-8 months.
