I felt sluggish in them. At first I thought they were too heavy and were slowing me down. I then realized that they made me feel as if I was higher off the court. I have worn New Balance for several years, my last pair the 803 model. I think NB tennis shoes have a reputation for being low to the ground, and my 803s were indeed lower than these K-Swiss. They fit fine, length and width and the toe box was good. But they were not for me. I have played five day tennis tournaments with this shoe right out of the box and have never been uncomfortable. No blisters, no hot spots, just plain comfort. Consistently great materials and workmanship over the years. This shoe has been in production for some time now. My only criticism is that the tread wears out way before the upper parts. Expect a little below average wear index on tread. Exceptional comfort and traction on wet courts.
