Works great, but check out videos on how to use it.
The stuff works great! I used it to fix several small nicks in my counter, the largest being 1/8” x 1/4”, and the others round and smaller than a BB. They are gone! I can’t find them even knowing where to look. My counters have a satin finish (they are not glossy). Some suggestions:Watch the YouTube videos for how to knead and apply the stuff. They didn’t lie, it does harden fast so you need to work quickly.I used buck-a-bottle nail polish remover (100% acetone) as the solvent and it worked fine. I don’t know if the diluted or non-acetone nail polish removers would work.I used two plastic putty knives, one to knead and one to apply. Plastic so I was sure I wouldn’t scratch my counter. Two tools so I wasn’t using my messy kneader to put the filler into my nicks and getting the stuff all over my counter where I didn’t need it. The tools do clean up with the acetone, but you don’t have time while the stuff is hardening. When you use the solvent to remove the filler haze around your repair, be light and quick with it. Wipe too hard, and you remove some filler from the repair and you have to try again to get a flat surface. The acetone did not affect my counter top at all, but my vertical counter edges are natural wood and the acetone did lighten the finish a little. Moral of the story, avoid wiping acetone on finished wood.

I didn't want to replace the entire kitchen counters and was looking for a cheap but good fix so they damage would not be obviou
My children damaged the laminate counter top in the kitchen - many knicks and scratches and chipped edges. After a lot of searching, I saw a youtube video of this product to repair laminate counter tops. I didn't want to replace the entire kitchen counters and was looking for a cheap but good fix so they damage would not be obvious. Seam-Fil is awesome and did the trick! It was very easy to fill in the spots. Be sure to follow the product instructions for best results. I used a putty knife to fill in the blemished on the top of the counter. Deeper spots required more than one application. A word of warning: it dries quickly! I found that squeezing a dime sized amount out of the tube and working with it. Then repeat as necessary. If you squeeze out to much, it will dry out and you won't be able to use it. A little goes a long way too! I had a lot of areas to fix and barely used the tube. Plenty left over for the next time one of the kids uses the counters for a workbench. I also had to use it to repair deep gouges and chips on the edges of the counter (someone decided to saw the counters in multiple places). I used the putty knife and my finger to get the Seam Fil into the gouges. Again, it took multiple applications; but the quick drying time made the process very easy. I did use a fine grade sanding block to smooth it out (since my fingers aren't the best application tool). Highly recommended!!

Works great, but you have to work fast
This works great, especially if you can get a good color match. You have to work fast, as it hardens fast. I takes a couple coats to completely fill the seam/hole, but its an easy process and makes a big difference. I find it works better on holes than seems.

Great idea, but it takes some talent to apply properly
I watched all the videos and read some other reviews. My countertop has an almond pattern, so if you look at the counter you can see the solid color, but from a distance, it blends in nicely and definitely hides the black underpayment. It seems to harden very fast and takes a bit of practice to apply without too much or scraping off too little. Looks like I will need to put on a second coat in the deeper indentation. Small scratches/chips were easier to cover. It doesn’t look like new, and the matte finish doesn’t really match the shine of my countertop, but the scratches are much less noticeable when walking by.

The color chart was pretty accurate.
You will also need to purchase the SeamFil solvent SF-99. It is almost inconspicuous on my Formica countertop but I can see and feel the difference in the areas where I put it. So far, it is holding up well. Strangely I had to order this and the separate color tube from two different vendors so the products did not arrive at the same time.

ITS JUST PAINT
This is just paint, I have applied it to many objects as a test (yes including Formica seams) and regardless of the dry time it will wipe away with lacquer thinner. It's just an oil base paint, nothing else. You can get the same results (if not better) using nail polish. At least nail polish is harder to remove and MUCH less expensive to buy and mix your own color.

Fixed burn hole in laminate counter
I burned a hole in our laminate counter top when I had a traumatizing grease fire. I filled it in with Almond and it matches as best as it could plus I used it to fill a bunch of tiny divets and cut marks that have accumulated over many years. Great product but it dries very quickly so beware!

Really works!
Wow. I forgot to do a before and after of the first set, but found one more. I had small gouges in my counter top from knives slipping over the years. They have bothered me for years. The almond color was a perfect match and this was the easiest thing ever. Bought acetone from Walmart, tested on a corner just in case. Spread a small drop of the tube in paper, used a putty knife to scrap into indents, and wiped up with acetone. My counter looks like new. I can't even find where the holes were. I do have some even tinier holes that it wasn't able to fill, just wiped right off, but they're super tiny. All together, less than $20. Way cheaper than a new counter top.Shipping was fast, came a week earlier than projected. The filing did dry really fast, seems like within 1 minute. Highly recommend.
