I had it bed lined over the powder coating but mounted well to my 2020 trail boss was going to put my spare up there but decided against cause I dont want to use ratchet straps

This rack is a beast. It really is awesome. I get so many compliments. People ask me where I got it. The only thing that stinks is the light tabs. I ordered a 52” light and I have to make a cradle to fit the light bar for it. The company should make a straight bar across the light tabs to fit a light bar. Otherwise this is one of the best racks I found at a great price. Will add other pics when I get the light bar bracket installed with the lights.

Really upset with myself for falling to this trap... Opened the item to be covered in rust flakes, and found that several of the rubber grommets were missing. I went through every square inch of the box to ensure I hadn’t missed anything. The top basket is not a true welded edge to edge basket, the metal gauge of the rolled tubes is barely thicker than paper, and the basket bolts vibrate loose every couple hundred miles. I emailed the seller about the delivery condition multiple times with absolutely no follow-up. Lastly, the drywall style bolt inserts that are expected to hold this contraception together are a nightmare. I went to the local hardware store and scooped up some J bolts to properly clamp it down. Not that I’d expect it to hold any real weight. The description calls for 150 lbs, but I’m afraid this things is going to cave in going through a car wash tube. Complete lack of manual, even after I called the generic hotline to ask about the manual and they sent the same thing that came in the packaging which is just a diagram and a parts checklist. I don’t even require an in-depth manual, but sorting which bolts would go where and guessing all along is a time consuming and frustrating experience. I regularly top 10-12k a month in business amazon purchases and this is by far the worst mistake I’ve made in a very, very long time. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A LOCAL WELDER.

i purchased this last week and installed it on my truck. it took a couple hours to install. the directions absolutely suck, but it doesn't take an engineer to figure it out, just some extra time. the bar is solid and looks awesome, lots of compliments. i think its a bit expensive compared to others however it appears to be well build. i did see some rust dust in the box but unable to find its source. Will update this review if it rears its ugly head. otherwise very happy with the look. Good luck.

fast shipping everything was clean and rust free. installation was easy, pre assemble on the floor then have someone help you load onto your truck. Width distance can be adjusted too. This worked perfect for what I needed it to do. Cons is the metal is thin, good for loading luggage, ice cooler on top or even strapping items to it, but on a roll over, it will not protect the cab. Thin gauge tube used.

I just started to put the rollbar together. Until this happened and I have to either re-weld or something. There are no insructions and no labling. Some of the panel gaps are bad.
