As many business owners soon find out Profit and Cash Flow are very different creatures. Denise O'Berry, who I first met through her popular MYOB forum, has a depth of knowledge regarding small businesses that is based on practical experience. This book is very practical, contains no accounting or business theory, it is perfectly suited for the small business owner looking to understand and manage cash flow. Some good points, too many wasted pages on marketings
The part I don't like is that the writer writes too much about marketing, which is not the subject of this book. There are many great marketing books out there. I don't think you would buy this to learn about marketing. Anyway, there are some good points about cash flow and financial discipline, but that's not enough. I feel like I need to know more from some other sources.

Great book for small businesses
I was looking for a book that could help me consult small businesses from a cash flow perspective and I think this book really hits the spot. Cash flow and management are the two most important things to the success of all businesses. If you can manage your cash flow, your golden. This book breaks down everything from finding the right accountant to improving business processes. By linking everything back to cash flow quantifies every aspect of business development. This book provides many great ideas that can be directly be applied to any business to improve its success. I am sure there are many books that can provide the perspective this book provides on saving money, documenting processes, and investing in marketing, but I enjoyed that the author links everything back to cash flow. I view this book as a cheat sheet for thinking about things to improve size or type of business.

A Must Read for Any Small Business Owner
This book gave me hope again! I had reached a major cash flow crunch in my business where I was thinking about throwing in the towel. Reading this book gave me solid action items that I could implement immediately to manage my cash flow better and improve cash coming into my business. Many books are very theoretical with no real "meat" to help you solve your problems. This book had practical workable ideas that I could implement right away. It made me hopeful and positive that I can turn my business around to generate positive cash flow. This book I will return to time and time again.
