460716-001 New HP Pavilion DV2000, DV2500 Laptop Motherboard (upgrade for 448596-001)

recieved the board quick, installed it and all is well now, laptop is working perfect.I do know these MB have a GPU desoldering problem ( that is why I needed a new one).The motherboard I recieved looks like the GPU was either new or taken off and reballed because of markings on it.A very good job on it though (should last)The board to me does not look new, or just taken out of a machine. All the ports, usb,HDMI, ethernet, etc are very dusty and dirty inside, telling me this has been in a machine for awhile. My board that I took out had less dust in the ports.I still would recommend this board though it was in good shape and I do believe it will last as long as you use some good thermal paste and maybe an extra copper heatsink (shim) on th GPU.

Good price, on time delivery, worked just fine. Even better than than the warranty coverage swap out by a big box electonics retailer (the big blue and yellow one) when they last replaced it and said getting a new motherboard was not possible. Put it in, put the laptop back together, reliable and simple.A tube of heat grease would have been nice, but a local electronics shop had me covered.

Had to send the board back because the chip set and fan assembly heat sink was not the same as my original board. Not sure why they just did not include the different heat sink and fan with this board, as that appears to be the key difference. I got a full refund.

The zif socket was in a different spot than the original motherboard. I had to buy a new fan and heatsink.
