Love Is Blue & Cent Mille

'Cent Mille Chansons' although virtually unknown to my friends, is the reason I bought this collection. The violins are almost painfully sweet; they and the rest of the orchestra are able to bend in tempo and dynamics so the song is surreal. We used it for our wedding processional in 1978 and it brought my wife in perfect timing to the altar sweetly, beautifully as the church organ chords came in toward the end. 'Love is Blue' is the original version. Although I was concerned that only some of the songs were two track (stereo) from the advertisement, thankfully the CD is stereo quality throughout without the scratches of a vinyl disk.

Listening pleasure while driving

This compilation has to be one of the best available at Amazon. All tracks have been remastered to a beautifully clean sound. Of course there is the original Love is Blue, but all others are worth listening to and will be appreciated by the admirers of this genre, featuring orchestral arrangements, no synthetic sounds. Recommended without reserve!

ポール・モーリアの不朽の名作「恋は水色」は彼の全集ものには必ずと言っていいほど入っているが、その全集の他の曲は年代バラバラで何となく聞いててチグハグ感（ポール・モーリアも年代ごとにアレンジ変遷）が否めない。その点この一枚は同年代流行の曲を当時の彼独特のアレンジでカバーしているオリジナル版。どの曲もポール・モーリアらしさに溢れている

海外より取り寄せだいぶ待ちましたディスクは問題ありませんが、購入は国内で取り扱うところよりをおすすめします。いい勉強になりました。
