**Q: can it be used in baking?**
A: I am a Certified Executive Chef. I would not use it instead of butter. The texture of butter is important in the process. It can, however, be used to replace vegetable oil in most cases as the properties are similar. I hope
this helps.

A: probably, don't know for sure but you can use it to glaze biscuits like putting butter on top before putting in the oven or just as they come out .put garlic in it and put on top biscuits.

Don't buy the other brands this is the best. It's like cooking with butter without the burnt butter effect. It has a natural butter flavor Cooks light not greasy. I found out about this product when I went to a restaurant for breakfast and it was the best eggs and hash brown potatoes I ever had so I asked to talk to the chef lol. I dontknow why whirl doesn't market this to the general public and package it in a more usable size. I usually make up 6 or 8 bottles and share with friends and family. It has about 1 year shelf life. It's what you want to use if you cook alot of breakfast foods or saute fish and seafood.
