AntexMMD00J0 CS Assorted bit pack 1101, 1105 and 1106 (Pack of 3)

I have had an antex soldering iron for many many years and although I do not use it as often as many people may, nevertheless the tip (the original) was due for renewal. As a result, I decided to order a selection of three to give me options, depending on what I wished to use them for. From buying the soldering iron originally (probably early 1980s) and now buying up to date tips, I was unsure how things would work out. No problem, although the style of the way of fitting the tips had changed the new tips fit with no problem. Delivery, in present circumstances was excellent.

Bought these for my Antex digital re-work station, used for building guitar effects. They are perfect.

Nice that these tips are still available for an old iron, the clamping method has changed from my old original, but the new method is even better. Good quality iron and tips, would definitely stick with Antex.

I needed some different sized bits for Antex CS18 soldering iron. This set has an ultra-fine bit for fine PC work up to a small bit for audio connectors. Quickly interchangeable and good VFM.

After 20+ years, my original Antex bit got damaged when I dropped it. I ordered these as replacement and am very happy. They work perfectly. One thing to note is that they come pre-tinned to protect them, so despite the fact that they look rather poorly finished, it is only because of the pre-tinning. Once heated up and cleaned they are the real deal - here's to the next 20 years of use!
