perfect sealer and mechanical hold for poly to aluminum no longer manufactured bomar hatch on my grady white. drilled small holes all around on the sides of the smoke poly panel for this product to enter and provide better mechanical hold. tape over both hatch and poly panel w blue painters tape, center in place, fill gap w glaze, pull tape quickly. done, has lasted years w zero leaks, better than professional results.

Exellent product. Sealed the sky lights in my boat perfectly.
I Used this product to install new Makrolon (lexan) sheet skylights into my fiberglass boat and the product worked perfectly.

Not your normal caulking.
I like that it’s thick and it doesn’t sag in wide joints. It is very black and dries with a feel of rubber and extremely tough. It was used to adhere and waterproof 1/8” acrylic panels on a radius aluminum frame of a sunroom. The acrylic was cut to within a 16th of an inch of the frame. The acrylic was poked in the top and bottom of the frame and only butted up close to the frame at the edge on two sides. I caulked around all four sides. I did it on 10 separate panels and it was secured solidly and completely waterproof when dried. Being horizontal it did not drip or sag to the room below.

Sealed acrylic lens into aluminum frame hatch for marine application
Used to seal an acrylic boat hatch lens to an aluminum frame which has remained leak free for 2.5 years now. I am now going to use it on the the second hatch as it seems to be a good product. SSG Ultraglaze is less expensive than the Sikkens competitor and doesn't require a (very pricy) primer so can't complain about the price.

Great for windows
Worked great for my home-made windows (using standard double-pane glass panels that I ordered). Was worried because my frames were so skinny (made from 2x2s (really 1.5x1.5s)) and the glass was so heavy (double pane 2'x4'). But once this stuff sets, it's done. Don't get it on your hands, or anything else. I ended up using adhesive cleaner to get it off. Better to use disposable gloves.

Expires too soon.
The expiration date is not legible on the tube. It looks to have been rubbed in that area. With 5x magnification it might say 11/20.

Ultra Glaze
Had to replace the hatch glass on my boat. The place where I ordered my replacement glass from told me I could only use GE Ultra glaze for the install and wanted some outrageous price for it. Checked the Amazon site and fond it much cheaper so I made the purchase. The product was very easy to work with but I was glad I followed the instructions that came with my replacement glass. I had to tape around the hatch, both the replacement glass and frame. The ultra glaze comes out like water and flows easily into the gap. Very easy product to work with when site is properly prepared
