Some are velvety, while other are more of a silky material. My favorites are the ones with the knots/tie. All of the materials are soft and good quality. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because some of the scrunchies seem to have better elasticity than others, but they are all easy to stretch and wear in hair/on arm. The plain scrum goes are a soft velvet fabric, the bows are a silky-type fabric. They fit well. However, after wearing one in my hair for a couple hours, then taking it out of my hair and putting it onto my wrist, the fabric is already unraveling and tearing away from the elastic. I’m bummed because I really like them. Hopefully this one is just defective and the rest are better quality! But great price for the product other than that.
