A thousand Stars & thanks Jarrow! This coconut oil helped save my dog. She was too old for surgery, had stopped eating, drinking & wasn't going to the bathroom. In a complete panic I looked up natural treatments for tooth abscess. I mixed contents of one capsule with 1/4 contents of an Oregano Oil capsule. Put on a Q tip and gently applied it to her affected gum 3 times a day. I gave her 3 water dropperfuls of a 1/2 cup of water that I had added 10 GSE drops into. Every hour I gave her 3 droplets of the water. I couldn't sleep all night, she never got out of bed I thought it was the end. Then in the morning the swelling on her face looked a little bit better. I continued making sure she had the water with grapefruit seed extract in it hourly and this coconut oil mixed with oregano oil rubbed on her gum abscess. Her eye could finally close so I knew she was getting better the second day. By the 3rd day her appetite was back (I had been giving her Enercal gel to make sure she had vitamins & calories while she wasn't eating, she could barely lick it off my finger) 3rd day was the charm, she not only was eating, she was even running again. Her tooth still hurt so she wasn't keen on drinking water herself so I continued the water dropper regimen squeezing it slowly, allowing her to swallow between squeezes, on the opposite side of her hurt tooth, I also gave her droplets of Luke warm strong tea using calendula flowers, Echinacea tea, & fresh ginger 4 times a day as I read those are supposed to help reduce swelling & inflammation. Luckily I keep most of these things on hand. I will continue to use Jarrow coconut oil, with oregano oil I mixed in on her gum every day. I started using it on her other gums too.

ever since i found out that this stuff is good for as many things as it is i have tried a few different kinds, so far this is my favorite for the price, it is whiter then the other brands i have tried and it has a light taste of coconut. a cut and paste:"The health benefits of coconut oil include hair care, skin care, stress relief, maintaining cholesterol levels, weight loss, increased immunity, proper digestion and metabolism, relief from kidney problems, heart diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes, HIV and cancer, dental care, and bone strength. This product is a convenient way to take coconut oil -- supplements are easier than scooping tablespoons from a jar. While there are many benefits, you need to be aware that too much coconut oil -- all at once -- can cause a laxative effect, and a die-off reaction if you have a lot of yeast in your system. Start slowly, be careful. This keep me up all night with loose stools after a couple of days of taking too many.

I absolutely love this product. I began taking it about 6 months ago and noticed that my nails had a healthy shine and my skin was so smooth. For a month or two they were out of this product, so I started taking a different brand. It didn't seem to have any good results, so I switched back to this product and once again my nails are strong and shining and my skin is glowing. 😊 I also use a coconut oil facewash so I'm sure that helps as well. So pleased with this & would definitely reccomend to anyone! Seems like the real deal!

At one time coconut oil received negative press in the US because of its high level of saturated fat. However, modern research has shown that not all saturated fats are alike and that the fatty acids in coconut oil, the medium chain triglycerides, do not raise serum cholesterol or contribute to heart disease, but are in fact very healthy. As a "functional food," coconut oil is now being recognized by the medical community as a powerful tool against immune diseases. And this is the best coconut oil I ever had by the way.

Great product. Each gelcap came to me intact. They're really easy to swallow, even though they seem to be large (a little over an inch). This, along with fish and flaxseed oil is a good supplement to a clean diet. All three are also essential if you're trying to battle stomach issues like SIBO or Candidaisis. Thet all contain antibacterial/antifungal properties, and together help to heal an ailing belly. Also, there is a two month supply in one bottle, which is a very good value. I haven't seen much better yet.
