Have attended conferences where author(s) introduce hope as a learnable, life changing practice and the book goes into much greater detail and offers many examples of acheiving high hope to live the life you choose.

Easy enough to read. Enjoyable.

I hope to use this in recovery classes in some form or another soon. I think it would be beneficial to those in recovery as many of those people have experienced trauma or low hope in their lives leading them to using drugs or alcohol as a coping mechanism. Raising their hope I believe would benefit them greatly in their recovery!

I liked that this book gave the world's perspective view on hope I didn't like the stories of abuse in the book though I skimmed over those.

I have been on a long journey learning about hope; the framework presented by Casey and Chan is the final piece of the puzzle that I have been trying to solve. I have loved learning about the science of hope and it has already begun to change the way I think and how I approach life. The stories of trauma shared in the book were sometimes heavy to read about and so I had to take a few breaks while reading, but I am so grateful for this book and for everything I have learned from it!

This book was exactly what I needed—quick, clear, and packed with useful information. It’s written in an easy-to-understand style and didn’t feel overwhelming or too dense. Great for anyone looking to learn something new without spending hours reading. Highly recommend for a fast, informative read!

Heard about this book from a leadership meeting I attended at the end of the year. The theme was hope and I’m so happy I read this book. So many reminders and actionable steps for the upcoming school year.
