Good support. Stays in place better than most. Can (and will) break the straps if you bend too much while wearing it. But the point of support, it does well.

High qaulity an sgreat support for knee pain

This is the third hinged knee brace I've tried, and it's by far the most supportive and the most comfortable.The hinges on the other two braces dig into my medial knee joint. This one's arms enough of a bend in them that they don't rub on my leg. Unlike my other two braces, the hinge has THREE joints (see photos - most other braces have only two) so it flexes better with my knee AND I can feel the support. Compared to this one, the other braces are a bit like wet noodles. The only downside is that the support means I can't bend my knee as much.I took all three braces to show my orthopedist, and he told me to use this one.

These are exactly as described. I have used them every day since arrival. I received them soaked with rain and broken cardboard packaging. As far as product I only rated 4 stars as they are a step down from medical grade and therefore I found that if you need for a temporary flair up or interval use. Absolutely buy these. If you are looking for permanent daily use. Get through medical provider. I was an RN and these I would highly recommend if you need this type of support. They definitely stabilize the joint and have metal stays that give extra support. The lining and velcro support strips are adequate as well. Highly recommend vendor and product.UPDATE. It's been almost a year of using these and they're still holding up and holding me up as well. These are a wonderful knee brace as they have gotten tons of use from me and still holding up. I am amazed.

The elastic works well. The Velcro straps really help to tighten it up and it last. This is my 2nd one, I left my first knee brace at my other home

The patella opening is small. 4 sets of straps (could have been simpler.) Recommended by orthopedic surgeon because of the hinges. Velcro is positioned where it can't rub the skin. Have definitely helped me!

I actually would like this brace a lot (it's otherwise comfortable and I like how adjustable it is .. not hard to put on and not too bulky while giving good support), but as other reviewers stated, the open area behind the knee pinches and is just uncomfortable. Thought the open back would make it less hot and restrictive. But the upper thigh part seems a bit short compared to the lower calf part, so not much overlap, and it pinches in back. I have the pull up sleeve kind and it's very hard to pull it down when you take it off, so was hoping this would be a good alternative. Wish it worked.

Got this as a spare and ended up liking it better than the one recommended by the ortohodepic clinic (at twice the cost even on line) . Comfortable to wear with shorts (the other one I got was better over a pants leg- the hinges on this other one had a interior bump I found uncomfortable with a bare leg). Easy to set up (after initial fit, I just slip it over my leg then tighten the straps). . Having front and rear straps (both top and bottom) allow me to better adjust final fit. When its time to rinse (its neoprene so you can sweat in it when warm) , the hinges are easy to remove and being able to make it flat speeds drying (vs a tube model). Great for walking and other times when a hinged support is preferred over a basic elastic sleeve.
