Kichler Caterham 14.75" Outdoor Wall Light in Olde Bronze®, 1-Light Exterior Porch Light Wall Sconce with Satin Etched Cased Opal Glass, (14.75" H x 8" W), 49643OZ

These lights are nicely made, durable and look nice on our walls. But as another reviewer stated, they are difficult to assemble and difficult to mount on our existing electrical outlets. We had to go to Lowes and find better nuts and screws to adapt them, but eventually we made them fit. Now that they're up I'm pleased with their appearance.

This light has simple, clean styling which looks great with our 60's modern home. It seems well made and durable. However, installation is made unnecessarily difficult by 2 things. 1) The mounting holes are farther apart than the height of many standard electrical boxes requiring modifications or different length mounting bolts to attach the fixture to the mounting bracket. 2) the "tool" provided to instal the glass globe requires fitting your hand into the globe and turning. I have fairly small hands and was not able to do this - we bought 4 lights like this and stacked the provided "tools" together so that the handle part extended below the bottom of the globe where it could be reached/turned.

Beautiful fixture. Compliments other Kichler Caterham interior fixtures we have purchased during the last 18 months. We are now replacing 5 older, contemporary fixtures on the outside of the house. Well built. Very Happy. I disagree with the previous comment about this being difficult to install. Including removal of old fixtures, I installed 3 of these in about 2 hours while running in the house every 15 minutes to check on the score of the Minnesota/Wisconsin game today, 11/29.6/15/2015 Update - Still delighted with fixtures. Just purchased a an additional used one from an Amazon reseller, hopefully it will be in good shape upon arrival.

This light was easy to install. It fits in with our asian décor.

Perfect on our midcentury home with prairie style elements.

Very contemporary. I love it.
