Worth it!
Pros. The price. Under $8.Dries fast.Don't stink.Easy to use trigger and nozel.I was having some major joy stick drift on my Nintendo Switch. Saw a tutorial on how to fix it on YouTube. The guy recommended using electronic contact cleaner. He used a different brand but some people in the comments section mentioned this brand. It worked! Now the drift is gone! And if my controllers do that again I'll just blast them with this stuff.

This is great contact cleaner, it is easy to use and it worked well!
I am a handyman and my home stereo and intercom system stopped working. I decided to fix it my self and I believed the unit’s power supply was bad. I ordered the components online and all ten of the items I needed was extremely low in cost. I literally fixed the unit for 100 tImes less than the factory repair shop wanted. When I got done I noticed all of the remote speakers had a lot of static and one of the volume slide switches on the main unit was difficult to move. I was out of contact cleaner and I ordered this WD-40 product. I sprayed all of the push buttons on each of the speakers and then I pressed them 10 times. I then sprayed the volume slide control.Immediately I noticed that none of the speakers had static anymore when you used them. The slide volume switch was quiet and it slid so quickly I had difficulty doing fine tuning as it over shot the point I wanted to set it at.I loved the 2 way spray nozzle on the can and I used the pop up spray tube and shot around the switches from the front on the remote speakers. The spray does not harm plastic so it worked out wellThis WD 40 product is very good and worked extremely well in my application. I rated it 5 stars.

Brought a 50-year old tube amp back to life
I have a 1964 The Fisher tube amp that had been in storage for a while and had "lost" one channel. Not ready to believe that a valve or a capacitor had failed, I decided to clean the contacts on all the potentiometers and switches first. As other have pointed out, the attached straw works really well and deposited the fluid exactly where I needed it.I applied a liberal dose inside each pot and moved the mechanism back and forth a few times. Same for the various switches. After letting everything dry out, I hooked it all up and fired the old girl back up. Tubes-a-glow I dropped the needle on the first track and the warm sounds of vinyl filled the room again!Awesome quick fix at a great price!

So useful to have on hand
I always have electrical contact cleaner on hand. It's so useful when some electronic device isn't working correctly because, say, invisible oxidation prevents the batteries from making electrical connection with the battery contacts inside. This solves the problem immediately. Also great, for example, when a charger isn't making contact with the device needing to be recharged, such as my cordless phone -- spraying this on resolves that issue at once. What makes the WD-40 superior to most other brands is that the "straw" for directing the spray to a small, specific area is built into the container with a hinge. If you leave it folded down, it sprays out of the nozzle in a wide spray, which I seldom if ever want. All I have to do to engage the "straw" is fold it up into position. Much better than a separate straw held onto the side of the can with a rubber band that needs to be inserted into the nozzle to use it. I note that while regular WD-40 lubricant can clean electrical contacts, it's a lubricant and leaves an oily residue which is not what you typically want when you need to clean electrical contacts. The WD-40 Electrical Contract Cleaner leaves no oily residue. Great product, one I use all the time. It keeps many an electronic device going and has many times restored one that has stopped working to full functionality. For example, I've had battery-operated quartz clocks that have stopped running and a new battery hasn't solved the problem, but once the battery contacts have been cleaned, the clock works again perfectly. How great is that? Tip: You can spray this product onto a cotton swab to clean a contact if you don't want the spray to get all over the inside of a device. One can lasts a long time, too.

Easy to apply, close to other expemsive solutions from others
Very economical compared to other expensive solutions from other brands. Work and clean pods and electronic components well. It is a clear liquid which will be evaporated quickly, therefore, this is different from the normal WD-40.Easy to apply by using the self-attached long nozzle. However, the nozzle itself is a little flimsy. So far, cleaned an old tube amplifier and several solid electronics. A few tips;1. It is clear liquid form and evaporates quickly2. Power off and unplug AC socket3. If you are going to use a long time, make sure your room shall be ventilated well4. Apply a little, and then apply more as it is needed5. Put a white cloth underneath of the component, may have some drips during the cleaning

Mediocre at best, and potentially damaging to electrical components.
I'm revising a review that I submitted previously, but prematurely. My previous review awarded three stars, simply because it's a mediocre product AT BEST, but I changed my opinion after discovering that some small switches I applied this stuff to had disintegrated. The plastic housing containing the electronics (possibly some sort of polystyrene plastic) had welded together, as if I had glued it using acetone, so I had to pry it open with a small screwdriver to gain access to the switch, and when I attempted the move the switch, it was frozen. Applying greater (but not excessive) force to move the switch, the plastic slider broke off, rending it useless. This happened on not just one switch, every one that I had applied this to. These were unimportant items I destroyed using this spray, and feel fortunate I didn't damage anything I really value. The claims of this product being "safe" with all plastics is simply false. In any case, even if it does not damage your components, it simply doesn't work very well, and has almost zero lubricant properties.I feel very betrayed by the reviews on this product, as they made me feel comfortable about the purchase, despite the very low price. There's no "free lunch".
