Exact fit for my 2001 Chevy Suburban 5.3L
Worked great on my 2001 Chevy Suburban 5.3L LS1. These bolts are for the flanged end of the Exhaust Manifold towards the Catalytic Converter and O2 Sensors. I re-tapped the threads on the Exhaust Manifold flange since the rust in the threaded hole makes it tuff to install this new bolt. avoid forcing this bolt in if it does thread in easily, you may strip this bolt in the process. You can get a cheap tap and die set cheap at Harbor Freight Tools. After doing so it made it easy to thread the new bolt in. To take off the old bolt if it didn't already unscrew with the old nut, soak the bolt with 50/50 transmission oil and Acetone mixed together which makes a great penetrating oil. Then use channel locks or other tool to unscrew this bolt out.

Exhaust Flange Studs...
Had to replace one of the three studs in my driver's side manifold. Some jack*** overtightened the nut and stripped the threads completely. Had to stand on my head and cut off the stud with a die grinder / cutoff wheel. The other two were stupid tight but came apart. With the manifold on the workbench (the wife's flowerbed), I cut the back end of the stud off flush with the flange, using a grinder. Then cut the long side of the stud off to about 1/4" and welded a nut on. First attempt, the nut broke off. Re-welded the nut and beat on the flange a bit with a hammer. This time the stud broke loose and turned out. Cleaned and lubed threads, then installed new stud. If you don't have a welder or oxy-acetylene torch, the OEM studs are extremely difficult to remove.
