Vegetable Cakes: The Most Fun Way to Five A Day! Scrumptious Sweets Where the Veggie is the Star

I don't understand why after this book there aren't kilometers of five stars reviews! Any desert from this book will be not just delicious, it will be astonishing. All the measurements will come together. I did feedleheads tart, and it was my first tart ever. I did not had tarragon and fennel pollen, still it was AMAZING. I did "cheesecake" with fennel, featuring four kinds of nuts (pistachios at the base, coconut and cashews, and almond butter as topping). It was so fresh! And kept like that for a long time. Any next thing I do comes out wonderfull, and I'm not at all experienced baker. It has also all kinds of flours other than wheet. Beautiful photographs with step by step illustrations! I just say, go get this book!

Love this book. I bought it for a Christmas present for my vegetarian sister but sneaked a peak. Beautifully designed. Easy to navigate. Elegant photography. I’ll get my sister to work on these cool recipes the instant she unwraps.

Use veggies to make beautiful cakes. I have not been brave enough to make any of them, but the photos are gorgeous. Just wish I could taste one before I went to the trouble of buying the ingredients and making a whole one.I have studied the photos many times. This is a book to share and discuss with all your friends and family.

Disappointed that so many of the recipes contained coconut. Not a fan!

Me ha encantado este libro. Contiene formas muy originales y diferentes de utilizar los vegetales en postres muy vistosos. Aunque no siempre sigo las recetas al dedillo es muy inspirador.

A truly gorgeous book. This book is great with creative recipes that put vegetables at the heart of the dish. A must have in your cookbook collection.Please write another book! Looking forward to more. :-)

I have mixed feelings about this book. I like baking veggie based cakes, that pretends that they are cakes :) This book takes the recipe to the whole new level (haha it is not innocent zucchini brownie anymore), it is inspirational but... I’m not sure if I ever bake anything from this book.Photos are pretty and recipes are good quality. Maybe a bit too much maple syrup and coconut sugar everywhere (I bake with veg and add fruits like banana for only source of sugar), and maybe because I avoid adding sugar those recipes puts me off.

Bought for a friend's birthday and she loved it. We've tried a few already and they were delicious!
