GCI Outdoor Slim-Fold Event Outdoor Folding Chair Camping Chair With Side Table

Comfy, sturdy and lightweight! I'm short and needed a chair that won't cut into the back of my legs all the time. The table is awesome bc it keeps my drinks and snacks away from my toddler that always ends up in my lap somehow. Chair has a nice wide seat which is perfect for ladies with a butt. My husband likes it to but it's more of a sit and stay chair for him as is low down. Really it's the best event/camping chair I've ever purchased. Haven't had it for to long yet but it will definitely hold up. Buying another for a short friend as gift!

Bought these to attend a Bluegrass festival where low seating was mandated. Turned out to be about 2" higher than their requirement but they were OK with it. Chairs are relatively light weight, comfortable and have a stable side table for drinks et al. Instructions were a bit cryptic and indefinite but I figured it out by trial and error. They appear durable. They fold up and don't take much storage room. They were priced more than local vendors but everyone was sold out so I opted to spent the $5 or so dollars each and had them drop-shipped to our hotel in the place where the festival was to be held. That, included in the free shipping balanced out the increased item price.

Living at the beach we have used many different beach chairs. We purchased this one then another because we liked it so much. My husband is a big guy & this chair is definitely sturdy enough for his 6’1” 230# frame. The table is convenient for drinks & snacks without the sand. It’s much easier to get in & out of too! This chair is versatile since we also take the chair to events where we need seating. The convenience of the backpack style makes this chair a great choice to bring anywhere.

I am a little person, 3'5" tall and this chair is perfect for me height wise and the width of the chair is much better than the kids camping chairs. The table and cup holder is a bonus. Lightweight, durable and stable.

I was hoping for a GCI chair that is as comfortable as my large camp version but that had a fold out table and was lightweight and minimal in size. That's exactly what I got. I love this chair. It fits on my beach cart, replacing my old Coleman chair that's similar but with a much lower back. I like this because I'm a 6 ft 1 guy and having the back of the chair go up almost to my shoulders is wonderful. However, as the video shows, mine is missing the latch that's supposed to lock this chair together. There's a conspicuous bungee tide to where the latch should be. I watched the GCI video multiple times and looked over every inch of this chair to try and find the latch, but it's just not on this one. I can't figure out why. It stays together decently well without it but can come unfolded if you tilt it too much. I imagine over time this will only get worse. Very strange for that clip/latch to be missing altogether. Still a great chair, I'm only removing one star for it.

Came as exactly as listed. Theee most comfortable chair. It's lower to the ground! Enough butt space for the bigger boys and the table is sturdy. The color is a very bright blue.

We have tried other folding chairs in the past with dismal results, the stresses of fulltime RV life and travel is not easy on any product and outdoor chairs get a lot of daily use! Sitting around the fire, happy hour with friends, dinner, morning coffee, weather, sun, folded up, stored away and repeat the next day... you get the idea, most every outdoor chair we've had lasts about one year before the fabric gives out, very disappointing. So when we saw the "limited lifetime warranty" in the description for these chairs we thought let's put it to the test! Our Slim fold directors chair arrived in May 2019, it is "made in china", the construction of the chair is sturdy including the plastic side table, sits very comfortably and stable, folded it takes about the same amount of storage space as my other chairs, it weighs a little more than my other brand chairs but not bad to carry to the beach etc... my doubts only concerned the seat fabric which seemed no different than our previous other brand chairs which only lasted a year and unfortunately my concern was well founded and a year later May 2020 the fabric sadly has given way like all the others before it. So... now we bought another GCI slim fold chair and we are currently in the warranty claim process with GCI outdoors, we will report back on how our claim goes... stay tuned. Cheers! I hunted a long time for a chair that was the right height. The camp chairs that everyone hauls to soccer games are impossible for this grandma to get out of. This chair is easy to carry (it has a soft handle) and easy to get out of. It is a little bit heavy for me but manageable. It folds and unfolds easily. I've had people tell me that it looks easier to handle than the camp chairs. Of course it is a bit pricier than some camp chairs but it is well worth the price. I no longer have to wonder who is going to help me get out of the chair when my granddaughters' soccer game are finished. That makes the games much more enjoyable.

The packed size is smaller than expected, sturdy and comfortable. Used it under rain, near firepit, on soil amd dirt, throw them around here amd there. I am really happy about the chairs (bought 2).

Was pleasantly pleased with these chairs....good weight...not light. Well made & the colour is really nice. Back of chair is upright so good for posture. Reasonably priced.....overall would recommend.
