How to Live Right When Your Life Goes Wrong (Indispensable Guides for Godly Living)

This book has saved my life, literally! I've struggled with depression and suicidal attempts for all of my life. When I cried out to God that I couldn't keep living that way, the Holy Spirit led me to this book which was given to me by my psychotherapist. Upon reading this book the scales fell from my eyes and I was set free from my bondage of depression. I've recommended this book to everyone when sharing my testimony. My Psychiatrist actually bought 10 copies when she saw the change in me. Glory to God for the TRUTH Principle, very practical for getting to the root and dealing with the causes of what had me bound. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. I have learned so much about practicing who I am in Christ by taking responsibility for what I choose to think and comparing it to how God wants me to think. The process of determining Truth that Mrs Vernick teaches is priceless.I adamantly hope this book becomes available soon in audible audio so it can be listened too as well as read.

I have read a lot of self-help books in the past both Christian and secular and this is probably the best one I've read. It takes you through the steps of naming the issue you are having, evaluating your thought process, and dealing with it in a biblical way. Until a person understands what is motivating them to react in a certain way, they will not be free to CHOOSE the way they react and they will remain a "victim" to their own reactions/impulses.

It’s was a very good book. Encouraging in many ways. Very glad I came across it and the author I will be reading more of her books!

This is absolutely the best ‘self-help’(hate to call it that, book I have ever read! So Biblically grounded, well written in a way that ‘clicks’. Best money I’ve spent in a long time. Well layed out and convicts towards real change and spiritual maturity.

I found this book to be very enjoyable and helpful in my walk in faith. Every chapter was filled with Biblical truth and practical advice. This is a good book to assign to a client, or even for a counselor to read. Definitely one of those reads where you take away something new every time you read it.
