fmg Glimmer Wash-Off Waterproof Mascara - Black (Lot of 3)

This is the only mascara I will use. Its waterproof but also washes off with soap and water. I dont want to deal with the whole make up remover stuff. I use it daily for many years (at least 10 years). I used to use the brown but that has been discontinued, so now I use the black. This mascara is great if you have watery runny eyes, where non-waterproof will just make a mess. If you go swimming with a lot of water use it may ware off, but if you just get a little bit of water exposure it will stay strong. If you rub your eyes it will ware off, especially if wet. It goes on smooth but does not go on chunky, where I have golden eyelashes, this is better for me. A mascara that goes on thick looks horrid, considered I am soo far skinned and I prefer more of a natural look. This mascara is not to make lashes longer and/or thicker, its best for just giving color and making them look natually beautiful. I personally dont like all the new stuff, I just want simple adding of color that does look like I am ready for the club. You can apply multiple layers and it can look more dramatic, if wanted. I find that when you first open you need to expose a little pumped in air to it, since it comes out really thin. But dont do too much otherwise it will dry out and get clumpy (never pump your mascara). Because it comes off in pieces (and does dissolve) when washing it off with soap it does settle in the drain and can cause clogging if you have alot of hair getting the drain, I have very long hair so we have to clean up the drain regularly. I will continue to use the product as long as it exist and I use mascara.

It goes on easily and makes my lashes look fuller and makes my look brighter even though I have very pale lashes. I also like how easily the mascara is to remove.

I love that it doesn't smear, but yet you can wash it off with soap and water.

Avon impressed me with this mascara! People always ask me who I go to lash extensions and I tell them about this mascara. It’s best after about a week of opening the tube, fyi.

Most of the time I wear this it has been fine, but periodically my long lower lashes get "raccoon eyes" so I have to really scrub with something to get it off. The wand is great and applies perfectly, as I mentioned though it does take on extra mascara on my lower lashes that transfers to my skin periodically. I was skeptical that this would come off easily but I use eye make up remover and it needs hardly any swipes at all to get all of it off, I can get away with just a beauty cloth I think to remove it so that's a plus. I give it 4 stars only because of 2 things, you don't get a large amount of the product. Second, as I already mentioned the periodic scrubbing off around my under lashes. It does stay on for the most part on the days without the product smudging under eyes, it works great, I haven't really tried the "crying test" but I do know that when it transfers to another part of your eyes like under mine, then you really have to scrub to get it off. One of the plus and minuses of using waterproof mascara.

At she 74, I've used several other mascaras looking for good lash enhancement and wearability that didn't clump or flake off easily. My eyes are sensitive too. I started using this product about 10 years ago, and though I still sometimes try others, I always come back to this Avon waterproof. I can usually wear this mascara for about 48 hours if I need to, and simply remove it with gentle soap and water. Great price too. If you don't need those extra fiber type lengtheners and thickeners, I highly recommend this for durable, comfortable lash wear.

I’ve used this mascara for years. It’s great for contact lens wearers and people with sensitive eyes. It doesn’t flake off into eyes, and easily removed with makeup remover or mild soap and water. I also like that it doesn’t clump on lashes, so looks more natural.

I googled Avon to make this purchase but it was out of stock! Not at Amazon!?! Go figure! It’s a great product that doesn’t smudge
