Best value, worked flawlessly
I am in a costumed heavy metal band and wanted to make our own shirts to give away at our shows. We sell screen printed more expensive T's but wanted to make some heat pressed T's to throw from the stage. This was not available for Prime shipping but surprisingly arrived in only 3 days after ordering. It's heavy and the box is a bit awkward. The box had some pretty ugly damage so I was worried at first. Opening the box top I could see that the protective foam was busted and was really worried now. Pulling the foam from the box I could see that machine is actually very well protected. It had no damage whatsoever and looked great. I set up a sturdy work table and powered it up. It heated up quickly to 250 degrees. I changed the setting to 350 and placed a T shirt on the press. You should be very careful to not touch the shirt tag to the top hot plate at any time. The tag will stick to it. The t shirt tends to get caught on the front corners of the bottom plate and the rubber piece will lift up. After a couple attempts you will get good at avoiding this. I placed the transfer in the center chest area and placed the included Teflon over it. You want to be careful not to burn your hand but still get the Teflon over the transfer without bumping the transfer out of place. Also make sure the Teflon is all the way to the back, covering the shirt tag from touching the hot plate. I adjusted the tension a bit tighter and closed press. The timer was set to ten seconds, I went 15 and opened it up. Peel the transfer backing off quickly and it tears don't fight it. Simply place the Teflon back over it and heat it up again, then peel that piece off. It won't affect the uncovered area of transfer, in fact it will remove any wrinkles making it nice and smooth. When removing the finished shirt do not let the transfer touch itself or it can stick together and peel parts off. If your transfer is crooked you can stretch the area in the direction you need by pulling the shirt in the direction needed to level it out. Notice on most t shirts there is a center line down the middle for lining up your transfer. This heat press was $209 and appears to be the least expensive of this type on Amazon. The others are $250 + and not much more improved, so I highly recommend this one. I hope it lasts a long time, so far it has worked perfectly.

Heat Press review
This Heat Press was very sturdy and easy to use. Not very noisy but you will hear the beeping and the lever when lifting after press. Heat level is satisfactory and even presses on the puffy vinyl ( just cover with wax paper). Motion is as expected, goes up with ease but you do have to put a muscle into when closing because it presses tightly. Works well with sublimation, vinyl, shirt, pants and bag presses. This product is definitely great for beginners who are looking for a long term piece of equipment with little to no maintenance.

Easy and Efficient!
I have been reading reviews and watching videos about heat presses for months before I decided on this one. First of all, I'm a crafter, not a business. I make things for family and friends and when I charge it's usually for materials only. So that being said, I also want to say in the picture you will see my very first project with htv vinyl AND a heat press. I've never done an iron on/htv vinyl project nor have I used a heat press before now. This heat press was SO easy! Settings were extremely easy and my project on a canvas bag turned out awesome. All you basically have to do is turn it on, set the heat to desired number, set the timer to desired number, put your bag or shirt or whatever on the pad, push the handle down and when it's done it will beep. Release the handle, let the fabric cool for a minute and then peel off the layer of plastic and your transfer is there! I also used the parchment paper that came with the press to place over the bag. I've seen people use this without it in videos, but I chose to use it since it came with the press. Overall this is a great little machine. Doesn't come with a lot of instructions, google will be your friend when it comes to setting temperature and timer depending on fabric and type of vinyl. ALSO there's a flyer in the box with Fancierstudio Facebook page. They have videos that I watched before I attempted to use this heat press, plus they have troubleshooting videos with easy fixes. I'm completely satisfied with this purchase!

My first experience with a heat press and I already feel like a pro!! LOVE IT!!
I have had a Cricut for about 3 years, but have always used a household iron to apply my iron-on/HTV (heat transfer vinyl) designs. It was ok for awhile as this is a hobby for me - not a business. However, there was no way to regulate temperature and pressure and you could sometimes see a difference in the finish of my completed projects - places where I had to lift my iron and move it to a different part of my image when my iron didn't cover my entire image all at one time. When you spend a lot of time creating and cutting a design to gift to someone, it's frustrating to see imperfections resulting from the application process (the last step)! My best friend and I actually purchased this heat press together and we have set it up in a craft room I have at my home. I taught her how to Cricut and so she does all of her crafting at my home with my Cricut Explore. This is the first time either of us have ever used a heat press and we are very happy with our purchase. It was very easy to use right out of the box and our HTV projects have a much smoother, nicer appearance upon completion. I have an old dresser that I removed the mirror from and we set up the heat press on top of the dresser and organized all of our vinyl supplies in the drawers. It doesn't take up too much space (about 1/3 of the dresser top) and we use the extra space as work space - we are able to lay out our design pieces prior to pressing them, lint roll our fabric before doing any pressing, peel the liner from our designs after pressing them, etc. It's so convenient and easy! Ware SO glad we purchased this heat press and highly recommend it to others. Also - instead of using sheets of thermal paper like we used to (the paper you put on top of your design prior to ironing it or closing the heat press and pressing it), we were able to purchase an elasticized sleeve made of the thermal paper that you can put onto the top plate of the press (the one you lower down when pressing). It stays on the press at all times and now we don't have to use sheets of thermal paper! Outfitting our press with this thermal paper sleeve has eliminated that step of the process. The sleeve stays on the press and your project is protected at all times! No more buying thermal paper, cutting it to fit your design and then storing it between uses. The sleeve fits this press perfectly! The only other thing we purchased was a roll of heat safe tape. We use the tape to keep everything in place when pressing a design with multiple pieces. It's also handy for marking the center of your design space. We are crafting more than ever since purchasing this heat press!!

Great value and easy to use
I was using the Cricut heat presses, but needed something when doing large orders. This machine did the trick! I've used it on blankets, t-shirts, sweatshirts, zip up hoodies, canvas totes and even a few things for sublimation. I use parchment paper to keep things from bleeding through and messing up the heat plate and bottom pad. When using it for sublimation, I use heavy duty cardstock as a barrier, under the parchment paper. The time and heat setting are easy use, to set the pressure you turn a knob and it's easyish to figure out. It has no auto shut off, and needs to be on a plug by itself. It is worth the price. It's quality is good and the website has learning and troubleshooting tips for you to use. I'm glad I added this to my crafting adventure.

Accurate PID temperature control
It's very accurate for its purpose. It is roughly +- 3ยฐF. If you think you need a press that is 100% dead accurate then you shouldn't be shopping on Amaz, but more like a specialty supplier & paying man6 times more Anyway, it heats quickly. Mine took 6 minutes & 35 seconds to go from 73ยฐF to 450ยฐF. It's quite awkward to carry because it's a bit heavy and the re is no handle to tote it around. I am making my wife a 24" x 24" table for it so it doesn't need to be moved to the kitchen table every time she makes shirts, ect. The timer starts automatically when you close it. It is digital and super easy to adjust Temps. and pressing time (countdown timer) The pressure applied when pressing even throughout the platen & it's EASY to adjust, even when it's hot. I'm just really impressed with this for the price. I am going to beaf-up the underside to ensure the lower platen is table and secure. There are only TWO bolts holding it in place on two aluminum stand-offs, there is no mount on the sides, or corner supports. All the pressing forces is on those two bolts screwed into the aluminum. That's my only gripe. I would recommend that you dedicate a table or some sort of stand unless you don't mind carrying about 40+ pounds (if I remember correctly) around to use it. It has a fast recovery if your pressing multiple things, it can keep up with the demand It's fast and large enough to press larger things in one go, versus pressing in stages... There are no feet ot stands, and that allows it to slide & causing damage the table its sitting on, so I placed a rubber sheet under it and that solved the sliding issue and that helps protect table

Better than expected
Loving it so far. I have had no problems with pulling the leaver up and down like some folks have said. Heats up fast. Would love a handle to pick it up and move it as there isnโt anywhere to get your hand under it to lift. During one sublimation project you could see where the hot spots were as the ink transferred better in some spots.

Solid build, works well
Works well. Solid build. Used it to do 350 dtf jackets with 2 applications and did a great job. Not flimsy like the one on here that comes with hat and mug attachments.

My experience with this heat press
I followed all the recommendations upon using this heat press. I noticed that this unit does not hold a consistent temperature. I set it to 295, will reach 295,but the temperature automatically will drop to 290 go up to 300 and vice versa. The handle is hard on the shoulder too even if the pressure is not too tight. I used it for 2 days, my shoulder was still sore 2 weeks after. Not for me. I returned the unit after.
