Always use OEM Fluid where possible
OEM fluid is best for your motor, so of course this is good.

ATF XT-8-QAW
actully i don't use XT8QAW on Fords, on the other hand i have filled it into my 2010 Saab 93 aero. i'm not sure this ATF can be added to other transmission, but if the transmission of your car is Aisin Warner AWF-21 6 speed automatic this fluid will work. More to say is AWF-21 is not the only name of this transmission. For my saab the name is AWTF-80SC. To me, i would like to buy XT8QAW instead of GM OEM ATF. 11 bux on XT8QAW, and 20+ for GM OEM ATF. also for this transmission, there are some other choices which you guys can find on Amazon. They are OEM ATFs, FUCHS TITAN ATF 4400. PS: DO NOT USE ATF 3309 on 6 SPEED AW TRANSMISSOONS.

This is the only trans fluid you can use in Fusion with 6 speed trans. Its hard to find locally but easy to get on Amazon
This is the proper and only fluid for Ford 6 speed transmissions in Fusion. to do the transmission fluid. This fluid is a fully synthetic fluid.( using any other type trans fluid will ruin this type transmission This XT-8QAM is only fluid you have to use on Ford Asain type transmission which is a Japanese made unit used on Fusions and Escapes to mention a few Fords . The change is easy to perform by unscrew lower drain screw on transmission, note+++++there is no big flat pan to unscrew all the screws or filter on this type transmission as on a standard looking transmission. It will drain off about 3,2 qts. Once drained simply close drain and open same type star type fill on top of trans. and slowly fill with funnel with long hose attached to reach fill hole.. Ford manual says trans fluid in to be changed every 150k miles. But at 100k I felt its time to take out the 3.2 qts of the 6 plus it holds totally so by changing it every year or 2 to replace the fluid for the 50 bucks the fluid cost through Amazon where I can get this XT8QAM easily its worth it to maintain my Fusion.
