This Fender guitar strap is just what the doctor ordered. I read a number of negative revues but decided to roll the dice and order anyways. First this does not appear to be a bootleg, it had a genuine Fender tag attached and from the first inspection I could see this was quality. The tan leather ends are thick and well crafted with the fender logo printed in gold, nicely stitched to the fabric strap. The black plastic adjuster fits snug as well. Over all the quality surpassed expectations. It's comfortable, light and looks really good on my blond telecaster. I love the vintage speaker look of the fabric. The price was a deal as well. Over all I am very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend this item.

I had to leave a review because the bad reviews for this product had me leave it in my cart for a week unsure of what to do.... First off the product itself is made well - the leather connectors are slightly on the cheap side, but it's too be expected on a strap of this price range. It does sport a nice metal adjuster, the fabric is super soft & the width is perfect so the strap doesn't cut into your shoulders. Now for the color controversy....I'm truly confounded by the negative comments...The strap came pretty much as shown - it may appear a little lighter in person but still nothing odd. In fact the color was as I expected - Fender attempted to match the strap color with the tweed color of the 1957 Twin Amp - being the proud owner of the 'mini' version of the amp, I now have a unique strap to match a unique amp. Strap looks great with my 3 tone Telecaster would look amazing paired with Lake Placid or Butterscotch I bet

Good if you know what you're getting. Buyer beware: the strap is more yellow (more like a manila envelope color) than what is conveyed in the pics. That said, it's still a good looking strap. Further, it's very cloth like so unlike vinyl straps it does not slide at all over your shoulder on cotton and similar material shirts. For me this is actually a bit of a benefit - my guitar stays where I park it when I sling the strap over - but for some who want to go bananas with free movement this will be really problematic. On a similar note (and as noted in some other reviews) it was hard to get over my guitar's strap pins because the holes are cut very small. This can be easily remedied if you care to cut them larger but I actually appreciate the fact that my guitar simply is not coming out of this strap. I've had two guitars fall to the floor over the last 20 years due to loose pin holes and ain't nobody got time for that. If it were $20+ I'd probably drop it to 3 starts but at $12 it's hard to complain.

For the price this is a wonderful strap. It can get twisted and wear out, but keep it straight and it will last you a long time. It has a vintage look, very soft and comfortable. It also has that vintage Fender coolness factor. I have 30+ year old leather straps that will be around years after I'm gone but I paid a lot for them and they're not as comfortable as this. I've even used these on Gibson's (oh, the shame) but of course they look best on Fender's, I guess. The truth is they will work on anything. The strap ends are great, but they're not really secure. Gaskets can take care of that. I own quite a few of these are they're great quality, look cool (in a vintage kinda way) and feel soft on my shoulder.

Arrivata come al solito nei tempi stabiliti, arriva in un semplice sacchettino di plastica (non che necessiti di chissà che protezioni..). La tracolla è di fattura molto buona, si vede proprio che non è una di quelle tracolle "base" in tessuto sintetico (quelle nere per intenderci). Peccato che il colore non sia beige uniforme come me l'aspettavo, ma siano delle righe diagonali marroni e giallo quasi fluo, ma su questo non posso lamentarmi, le foto parlano chiaro! Tutto sommato però fa un bell'effetto. I fori per agganciare la chitarra sono leggermente stretti, e personalmente ho fatto un po' di fatica ad agganciarli. Nulla di trascendentale: significa che la tracolla rimarrà ben salda allo strumento riducendo il rischio di cadere. Una volta indossata si rivela una tracolla eccezionale, risulta comodissima. Il tessuto è morbido e non dà per nulla fastidio. La regolazione non è "dura" e scorre agevolmente anche con la chitarra indosso, senza però significare che questa scivoli "da sola" mentre la si suona. Lo consiglio? Assolutamente si!
