Winco 6 inch nut cracker and lobster opener, chrome plated zinc alloy, pack of 6, Silver

Purchased these crackers for a steamed lobster dinner. They have a nice finish. Not sure if it is polished aluminum or true chrome-plated. Hand washed before use to be safe. They do have a nice heft and are sturdy. Look great on the dining table setting. My family used them to crack large Maine lobsters. The crackers held up while cracking through the heavy claw shells. I chose to hand wash them as was not sure if they are dishwasher safe. My only complaint is they don't come with washing/care instructions nor material labeling. Hand washing kept mine in pristine condition. I will determine over time how well these crackers hold up. They can be used to crack nut shells.

Yeah they are good for the job

fair quality, but in bulk! I'm a lobsterman and cook dozens of lobsters a week, these struggle with claws of lobsters >2lbs, but most of these nutcracker style do. Finish won't hold up in the dishwasher, but few of these chromed styles do! If you hand wash and use on smaller lobsters they're perfect. I give them away when I give lobsters to somebody, about to order more.

Sturdy and work great. Bought them for my family holiday party crab boil. Sturdy and worked great. Have to admit most of my family used their teeth(ugh). But for those of us who used them they worked great. Plus they weren’t that expensive. Loved it.

Works okay, we were looking for an inexpensive item and we got it. We purchased a total of 7 orders totaling 42 items, it came in a nice package, easily washable but It also break easily, we have already thrown away 10 pieces since we purchased it because the bolts where loose and it fell apart. No major complaint other than you get what you pay for.

Haven't used this product yet but seems to be what I'm used to using in a restaurant. I look forward to a long life of use for this product.

These items were well-made at a far reduced price than if I had purchased them from a department store. The crab boil consisted of 16 people and the nut cracker openers were a big hit. Thank you Amazon. You get 5 stars from me.

wanted to wait to review until after we had actually used them. the price was great so i was thinking they would break the first time they actually cracked a claw, but they were fine and did what they needed to do.
