Not good for dab, condensation causes the paper to become wet. Its great until 20 mins after the pack is inserted. Stays cold for a long time but like I said condensation. ****edited *** The packs that came with the unit did not work well. I've updated my review up to 5 stars. It works very well just as long you aren't running your house heater =D. It last longer I put one ice pack inside and one ice pack under the unit. Dab comes off clean. Transfer from cooling plate to silicone pad and the dab will just rolls off the paper. I would also suggest buying additional ice packs. Keep in mind size.

Works like a charm! Very well made, the no-skid feet keep the unit in place while in use. Don't overfill the Ice Pack. Fill to the 250 ml line & allow the mix to become gel. If you have a problem with the gel pack fitting, simply insert a disposable drinking straw past the interior bladder & gently press down to remove the excess air in the pack. I couldn't be more pleased with this Cooling Plate kit. It's built to last.

I love this cold plate the way the ice packs sit below the the working surface of the plate you don’t have sweat issues like you have when using other substandard chill plates

I'd inquired on where to purchase replacement gel packs in the questions section and told I needed to insert a straw to withdraw 'air bubbles'. Well that was worthless. Not much air, and the mass inside is a fairly solid mass of gel that none of it can be squeezed out any whichway. Once the packs have a bit too much water whenever you freeze them they are too large to fit in the tray. The centers swell larger than the ends. If you try and freeze it already in the closed tray it expands and the tray warps. So effectively I have a worthless piece of junk. Why would a reputable company manufacture and sell a product that you could not buy 'replacement' parts for... and especially a part that so easily makes the whole purchase not worth ten cents. Oh, I guess I should buy another whole tray when all I need is a gel pack. So heed my warning and don't put much water in the gel pouch, not to the fill line, or you just bought a piece of junk too. Or just purchase a simple, solid aluminum tray designed to be simple, and a lot cheaper.

Sturdy and effective. Comes with two inserts so you can switch them out for a marathon collection session I guess. Works like a dream, helps get those bits of extract previously thought uncollectable.

Smaller than I expected. Also, it comes relatively unfinished with an fairly coarse top and rough edges, I had to sand it smooth to make usable.

Provided ice packs dont even fit in the spot they're supposed to. I can make it work but it certainly doesnt function as it should.
