High quality!
I installed this system at home and it works really well. The video quality is clear, even at night, and the wide-angle view covers a large area so I didnโt need extra cameras. Setup was pretty straightforward, especially with PoE since itโs just one cable. The app is easy to use and I can check everything remotely without issues. Overall feels reliable and worth the money. Would recommend for home security.

OOSSXX Security Camera System - The Ultimate Business Security Solution
After searching extensively for a reliable security system for my business, I finally found the perfect solution with the OOSSXX 2.7K/5MP Security Camera System. As someone who needs constant surveillance coverage, I can confidently say this system exceeds all expectations. The 5.0MP cameras deliver exceptionally clear video quality both day and night. I'm particularly impressed with the night vision capability - the three infrared array LEDs provide crystal clear footage up to 65ft away, giving me peace of mind even during the darkest hours when my business is closed. Weather is never a concern with these cameras. The IP67 waterproof rating isn't just marketing - these metal cameras have withstood heavy rainstorms without any issues. I've installed them both inside and outside my business, and they perform flawlessly in all conditions. Storage capacity is outstanding with the included 2TB hard drive. I'm able to store a full 60 days of video and audio footage, which is crucial for my business security needs. Not having to purchase a separate hard drive saved me both money and setup time. The AI Human Detection feature is a game-changer. Before switching to OOSSXX, my previous system would constantly send false alerts triggered by leaves blowing or animals passing by (yep we get leaves and the ocassional animal wandering around at night. Now, I only receive notifications when actual people are detected, reducing unnecessary stress from false alarms by about 99%. What I appreciate most is the flexibility to monitor my business from anywhere. Using the free Honestview app, I seamlessly switch between viewing the feed on my phone while on the go, my desktop monitor at work, and my home computer. The interface is intuitive, and there are NO monthly subscription fees - a significant cost savings compared to other systems. Installation was straightforward, and the customer support has been responsive on the few occasions I've needed assistance. For any business owner serious about security without breaking the bank, the OOSSXX Security Camera System is absolutely worth the investment. The peace of mind it provides is truly priceless.

High quality system- recommended
I was pleasantly surprised by the value on this system. I didn't expect much but so far, the system was easy to install, configure, and navigate. The instructions that come with the system aren't great (language barrier), but simple Google searches and a little intuition provide the information needed. The software on the DVR is extremely basic, but it's really no different than any other security system I've encountered. Physically, the cameras have solid metal housing and seem very sturdy. I wish the provided Ethernet cables were a little longer than 60', but I installed couplers/extensions on the lines that were short and had no issues. I love that it's a POE system and I only had to run one wire to each camera. The videos are extremely crisp and clear and everyone that I've shown the footage to has agreed as well. I imagine it would look even better on a 4k device versus a computer monitor or phone, although these still look great. Based on my recording settings (constant time recording), I generate about 1.8GB of video per hour on each camera. This will probably fill up the 2TB hard drive in about a week and a half but the system is expandable up to a 6TB hard drive, which I will probably do in time. The motion detection seems to be very sensitive. I have the sensitivity set on the lowest setting and it still alarms when trees blow in the wind or when bugs fly at night (I do understand that this is a typical problem with IR cameras). I believe that I may have some settings incorrect so I'm not ready to fault the system yet, but I will have to continue to play with the software. One small complaint is that, when viewing the stream from the Android app (also very simple interface), you have to manually tell it to switch to an HD preview. Nothing wrong with it, but it's a little annoying. Motion notifications seem to be immediate and it's easy to review footage directly from your phone. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this system for someone looking for a great value system at a reasonable cost.

I love the quality but...
I bought this because we had a car stolen a few days ago. The police found it the same day it was stolen. The quality is good and it was pretty easy to set up. Didn't even need the instructions. The the problem is the waterproof caps were not attached to the ethernet cables like they are supposed to and unfortunately I didn't realize this until all the cables were run. They did have the waterproof caps packed separately, but can not go on the cables unless I cut the end of the ethernet cable off, put the cap on and then rewire the ethernet connector. I ended up just using electrical tape. Luckily the connections are not where rain is going to hit them directly. I called the company to see how I can get the waterproof covers on over the cable. The lady I spoke to had an english understanding issue. She asked me to send pictures. So I did. They after a very dumb email session they suggested I do the repair work on the cable (Splice it and reconnect the ethernet cable) or take it all down to return it for a replacement cable. That's just too much extra work. Hopefully it will last with the electrical tape for the next 4 years.

Great for Home or Business surveillance
This Wired security camera system offer a robust and reliable solution for home security. With high-definition video quality, night vision capabilities, and advanced motion detection, these systems provide peace of mind like no other. One of the biggest advantages of wired systems is their stability. Unlike wireless systems, they are not susceptible to interference or signal loss, ensuring consistent performance. The ability to customize recording schedules and receive instant alerts to your smartphone further enhances security. The installation process, while slightly more involved than wireless systems, is generally straightforward, especially for tech-savvy individuals. The added benefit of local storage eliminates the need for monthly subscription fees, making it a cost-effective long-term solution. Whether you're looking to protect your home or business, a wired security camera system is an excellent investment. With its reliability, flexibility, and advanced features, it's a top choice for anyone seeking top-notch security.

OOSSXX The affordable solution backed by excellent Customer Service
After years with a low cost solution that worked except at a critical moment where my neighbors car was stolen and the culprit walked on to my driveway to check our vehicles. Trying to lookback at the recording, the hard drive in the old system had crashed and no recording was available. The camera's and the floodlights chased the culprits away, but still would have been nice to have this on camera. After comparing a number of solutions in various price ranges settled on the 8 channel 4 camera package from OOSSXX . Prime delivered the system quick and prior to mounting the camera's in position hooked up the system on the test bench to make sure that everything worked. Using an Comcast XFI router the first challenge was to make sure that the camera's would get the correct IP addresses. The Comcast XFI router does not allow you to reserve IP addresses so setting fixed IP addresses for each camera is not an option so you need to use the "automatic" option to make it work. (This is not a shortcoming of OOSSXX, but a Comcast issue they apparently fail to address despite many complaints for this exact reason where you prefer to have fixed IP addresses for devices.) However the automatic solution works to get all the camera's connected every time following a Comcast initiated network modem reset. During the day all looked to work properly but after it turned dark, on one of the camera's would the Infrared LED''s would not turn on, the Camera switched to night mode but without the LED's there was a completely dark picture only the part where the Infrared LED's from another camera overlapped the picture was clear. I contacted the customer service department both by phone (during the weekend) and left a voicemail and emailed their service department . On Monday I received both a call back from them and an email from the service department. They gave some suggestions to test and after confirming these steps they shipped a replacement camera. I expected to have to wait for weeks to have the replacement, but 2 day's later it was delivered by Amazon. That replacement apparently got knocked around during transport and had a problem, but once again their tech support team responded immediately and a new replacement arrived 2 days later. During this process their technical team stood behind their product, kept in touch and provided better service than I have seen in a long time. As these are POE camera's and they all are on the same network, I was even able to add some of the camera's from my old system by simply leaving them connected to the old NVR for power (the old camera's use a different voltage) and I am able to record 8 channels of Video. Using the EseeCloud app on my phone I have access to the camera's from anywhere in the world. Bottom line, while the NVR might be similar to some of the other brands (or unbranded versions) but the customer service sets them apart from all the others. If I read the feedback regarding some of the large names out there, OOSSXX is miles ahead of those companies. On price versus performance, OOSSXX is the best possible option for a POE based solution

Mind blowing how horrible this product is.
This system... I have no idea how it's gotten such good reviews. These are garbage! Ip cameras with no browser interface... so you can't put the camera's IP address in a web browser to go in and modify any of it's settings. There aren't any. There's no access to the camera itself. And that means, you can't modify the password which there isn't any. The default is 'admin' for the user id and there is no password and you can't add a password because there's no access to the camera to change it/change settings. The NVR will modify the IP address, but it won't modify the password. It comes with 4 cameras... I was *attempting* to add 4 other cameras to it as well. If something isn't just perfect, the NVR resets itself... and it's done it on me at least 100 times. The NVR resets itself if a camera is set to more than 25fps, or if the video is too big (more than 2048px)... or even if it gets a failed connection with a camera. It's insane! Like other NVR's, this one has the ability to upload to a cloud (P2P)... it will upload to EseeCloud to use in their app for viewing video. The NVR has a switch that will enable or disable videos from being sent to EseeCloud. The switch doesn't work. Considering this thing is such garbage, all I'm using it for is to record video... I don't trust it for anything else so I don't want to use an app to view the video; I'll do that at my PC when needed. Even with the switch (P2P) turned off on the NVR, it still sends video. Using my router, I disconnected the NVR from the internet so EseeCloud isn't getting my video. In short, there are a lot of bugs in the programming of this piece of junk NVR. The IP cams have no web interface that you can enter an IP address into a browser to change the IP cam's settings or watch its video. The cameras don't/won't use a password. It's shady turning off P2P on the NVR yet it still sends videos... leaves me to wonder, who? I bought this in 2021 to do a job which didn't go through, so I've been stuck with it. Actually kind of glad now that it didn't go through, because I wouldn't have wanted to leave this with a customer... because it's garbage! It does seem to do okay with recording video from 4 not-so-important cameras, fortunately.
