Pro: This gate is great if your pup is under 40 or 50 lbs and respects boundaries. I love the finish of the wood, and it's high enough where the cats don't want to jump over but they can't get their heads through the gaps either.Cons: it needs to be anchored to the wall, and the L brackets that come with it don't fit. The locking mechanism is hard to do, especially if you have bad fingers but it does the job. I might put a different one in the future. The door is flimsy too, the only thing I keep on the gate is a towel and potty bells for the pup. There's a bit of a lip you have to step over too, which is frustrating if you're trying to potty train a puppy like I was. For all those reasons I tried to return it, but the shipping cost more than the product so I kept it.

I couldn't be happier with this pet gate......for me, CAT gate. 36" high and 88" inches long in four sections with a walk thru door that swings both ways. Can my cats jump over 36". Yes. Do they? No. They understand they're not allowed in the foyer. Securely packaged and completely assembled. The only thing I had to do was insert the spring and screw in the bolt for the door latch. They also included additional hardware, should I ever want to add a panel. Beautiful color as well. I'm perfectly satisfied witht this purchase.

I love the quality of the wood and finish. My guests comment on it all the time. My one complaint is that my border collie has figured out how to push past the sides, so I really have to be careful to put the sides against something that will hold them in place. However, it doesn't fall down when he does it, just moves the section a little bit, so that is a testament to its stability.

It looks very nice and it does the job. However, it wiggles when you open the gate and the lock is not state of the art either.

The stabilizing feet were NOT included as stated many times in the description. Aside from the feet not being included these gates are perfect for what we needed them for and look fantastic.

Just not sturdy enough for pets

I like the height of 36" and being wood instead of plastic. The bars bend and the gate has a big gap at bottom and is crooked. Gate only has pin at top to hold place on opening side so it is easy to push through. Bought the stabilizing legs and mounted it to the wall with study hinges from the hardware store. Still wobbly. Looks good, but not functional.

I was hesitant to buy this gate, as I bought one from a different company that looks identical and was not very impressed with it. But it's hard to find an affordable pet gate that my dog can't jump, so I bit the bullet and made the purchase. I'm glad I did. This one is so, so, so much better. It has a bit more weight to it, so it stays in place and it's not wobbly like the other one. I'm very happy with it.
