AgriFab and other spreader manufactuers that use this piece should be ashamed, cheap plastic that cost anywhere from $6.00 to $29.00 depending. Why not make stufff that lasts? I have an acre and a half that I fertilize, this product didn't make it through the first year before the bushng broke, of course the hopper was loaded, so I had to empty that before I could work on the damn thing! I am in the process of making metal ones that will not break.

original part lasted four years and failed, replacement parts (2) lasted less than one hour-assembly was by the book as well as reassembly. all exposed surfaces were cleaned and friction surfaces lubed, bearings cleaned and lubed. the second replacement part was even reinforced with hose clamps-again, vertical and horizontal shafts were adjusted for alignment, all new Delrin bushings installed and even replaced a worn cross brace.
