LG cursor style remote controller, cannot use two remotes! Single base stand, no dual "feet"
Nice TV, I bought it in April 2020. Two things to know that may or may not stand out in other reviews. This is the only largest (75 inch) TV I could find of any brand that has a single stand beneath it rather than the dual feet models. I have a TV cart that is not wide enough to accept the larger TVs with twin flanking feet that are installed separately and are approximately 45 inches or more apart. This stand is 30 inches at its widest, and fits on my cart. It was somewhat difficult to install since it took two people to place the TV on the floor and then boosting the TV onto something (firm pillow) to lift it a bit while I installed the single foot...this will make more sense when you are putting it together. But its manageable, and once on that single arc-shaped foot, its pretty stable. Is it as stable with no wobble as two separate feet...no, it is not. If you live on an earthquake zone, it'll jostle with tremors. If you have little kids, this will work, but you'll need to secure it in the back (eg paracord to the TV stand in two places holds well because the TV is upright and won't start to tip with this set-up and thus the weight remains centered over the stand,, but do you own investigation and secure at your own risk and responsibility). But, all in all, the stand does work. The other thing to know is the, in my opinion, junky remote control. Its Bluetooth connected to the TV, and only ONE remote can be paired at a time. I always buy a spare remote and use it from our other couch, but other than on/off and volume control, the extra LG remote that is a perfect match for this TV and the original remote, does not change the channel, work the menu, or anything like adjust settings. Why? There is a cursor that shows on the screen when you point the Bluetooth connected remote, but second remote is not paired. Its frustrating. I can pair the new second remote, and it works fine, but then the original first remote doesn't work. I went online to research this on LG forums and, yep, its a known issue that two remotes cannot work with this model TV. Ugh! More of an inconvenience than meets the eye. I do not like overly complex remotes, and this one has a clicking scroll wheel and that cursor and seemingly many things that could, in the end, go wrong with it. Time will tell. The picture is vivid and great. The sound on the native speakers is very good, I honestly only use my Bose system hooked to it by digital audio-in cable when I'm watching big sporting events; for daily use, the internal speakers are absolutely fine and even have some bass. All-in-all, Im still pleased with the TV at this price point.Thank you. Good TV viewing.

Beautiful picture
When I first turned on the tv there was a small area that showed darker on the bottom of the screen. I called LG and they scheduled a repair person to come look at it. The repair person never showed or called and neither did LG. I called the repair service back and they said they had rejected the repair because I was outside of their service area. So, then I called LG back and they said they would look into it and get back to me. I never got a call back from LG but I did get a call from a different repair service that did come out the next day and they were able to fix the screen. The diffuser sheets had broke off of one of the tabs and got pushed up a bit. The repair person laid the diffuser sheets flat and it fixed the issue.A few things I learned... LG service is not great on communication, there aren't replacement screens available for these TVs yet, replacement diffuser sheets are not available yet either. The screen is great though. It has a beautiful picture and the local dimming, HDR, and contrast are all great.5 stars for the TV, but 3 stars for LG support.

High quality good tv
I was skeptical buying this tv having seen a few negative reviews. What I notice is a very clear picture from any angle. I don’t see any “blotches” unless there is nothing playing on the tv. When you are watching tv or Netflix these issues are indistinguishable. I have a surround system , so not much to say about that. Although I was running an optical cable with which I could use Dolby atmos which is good quality sound. However I had an issue with the optical cable and switched it to HDMI arc. Which is just as good even though you cannot use Dolby atmos that way. Very pleased. This tv replaced the 2014. 70 in lg LB7100 which recently died a horrible death due to an edging issue. Although in 5 years and for $1000 less than the 2014 model. This tv is light years ahead of that one in picture quality and sound. I don’t use the apps much outside of Netflix. Overall very happy with this purchase

Wonderful
My what a wonderful TV! I think it is the best that I ever had. Everybody that has seen it wants to pull up a chair and enjoy it. Now this is an 86" TV, 1 jokingly said it needs to be bigger. However, this is big enough for me. I am very happy.
